Title: Three Reasons
Summary: Neither wanted to say it to the other first because each word was reason enough why they shouldn't be together.
Disclaimer: Whatever. I'm so not in the mood for this. I don't own it, 'kay?
I
Reason number one: Look out for yourself before anything or anyone else.
They were selfish. They only thought about themselves, only looking for something to benefit them.
What would they get from this anyway? Sex? Brief moments of happiness before heartbreak?

He hated the thought that if someone came along who was old money or blue-blooded, she might drop him faster than she had on the night of Cotillion.
She hated the way he made her lose control.
