Nessie visits Aro
"Ah, Renesme, so glad you could visit." Aro knew why i was here, charging through the huge doors towards his lavish throne, and it wasn't for a social visit.
I came to a halt a good distance infront of him, his guards had become alert, but Aro, ugh. He was cockily at ease.
" Aro. I Presume you are aware we have a strong alliance with the wol- uh, shapeshifters, yes?" Straight to business.
Aro was still masked with his fake cheer. The smile was begging to be removed from his cold face. "i was hopeing we could avoid this topic of conversation, Dear Renesme."
"maybe you should have thought of that before you attacked my fr-"
"your friends? But, sweet child, the shapeshifters are our enemy."
"your enemy, Aro. Do us all a favour, Aro, Keep. Off. My. Land."
Aro's mask wavered, then he looked falsely amused. "your land?"
"that's correct." I sighed with impatience. "Across the Quileute boarder, is my territory. So back off."
"Renesme," Aro said, his mask defence faltering, his serious expression shining through. "you'd be foolish to threaten me." The way he said it made it sound like a question.
"yeah? I just did." I Eyed each of the guards, noting there distance, and how many there were. 3 of them behind Aro, two guarding the doors i came through. "i'll see myself out."
As Demetri stepped forward Aro held up a finger, and he stood down.
"Let her leave, Demetri. We don't need her. Not yet."
I could tell Aro was baiting me, that was something he liked to do, mess with people. He'd always been one to play with his...food, too. Speaking of which;
The door flew open with a crash behind me, i could smell the heat radiating off her body before she'd even passed me to be brought to kneel at the steps of Aro's throne.
The girl's head hung low on her shoulders, and her black hair draped forward. She reeked of blood, and the look in Aro's eyes practically rang a dinner bell.
"pleasure, as always, Young miss Cullen." It was obviously a dismissal.
"I Prefer Black, as it goes." I nodded to Aro, and left. I hoped Aro might make her death quick, but considering his current...playful mood, i doubted it. But hey, you can't win them all.
