I'm gonna be perfectly honest here, this...is something I've been wanting to do ever since the movie premiered. That being said, I probably should have done so earlier when this was still relevant.
And yes, I do realize this will probably get some backlash regardless. Flash Sentry is not a popular character in the franchise (as far as I know anyway), so I know what might come. Might, because it has been a long time since the movie premiered, and maybe the fire has died a little down...keyword being a little.
Anyway, enough with my ramblings! You know the usual, read and review.
(Crystal Empire)
Twilight, Spike and the rest of the Mane Five recently got off the train and headed for the crystal castle. On the way, Twilight crashed with a running male pegasus, who immediately got up and helped Twilight up before speaking.
"I'm sorry miss, but I'm really-reeeeaaallly-late to my duty as a royal castle guard, and if I don't hurry, I'm going to miss the princess's arrival!" the horse hastily apologized.
"Wow, you're a royal guard?" Twilight asked.
"That's what they're called?" The pony asked back, earning a confused look from Twilight before he quickly changed his repsonse, "I mean, uh, yeah! That's right! I'm Flash Sentry, the newest royal guard of Equestria!"
"That's impressive, how did you do it?"
"Well, that's classi-why am I wasting time with this?!" Flash replied before giving Twilight a worried look. "Miss, I just need you to answer a simple question; where's the crystal castle?"
Twilight pointed at the castle itself not too far away, which was spotted by Flash immediately. "Thanks." and with that said, Flash went running to the castle, before stopping and turning to Twilight. "Hey! What's your name!"
"I'm Twilight!"
"Ha, funny, you have the same name of the princess who's coming today." Flash remarked before resuming his run. "Anyway, see you later Miss Twilight!"
Twilight waved goodbye and gave Flash a smile before she and her friends continued to go to the castle. "I like that guy already." Pinkie Pie blurted.
"You like everyone, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash added.
(At the castle)
The royal guards, including Shining Armor, were standing ready for the arrival of Twilight. Then, out of nowhere, Flash crashed in and went directly to his position, earning a scowl from Shining when the two met.
"You're late, Flash." Shining sternly told to the stallion. "What took you so long?"
"Sorry, I kinda lost the track of time for a moment." Flash nervously explained, right before hearing the trumphets. "Oh, here comes the princess!"
The gates opened and Twilight and her friends went inside and walked to the guards, much Flash's shock. "Miss Twilight? What are you doing here? The entrance is supposed to be for the princess, leave before Celestia takes you out."
"Flash, Twilight is the princess." Shining blatantly stated.
The instant he heard that, Flash's mouth fell wide-open and he turned grey of shock.
"He's funny, I'll admit that." Twilight remarked. "Anyway, I'll go meet with the princess. See you later, Flash."
