Chapter One - Sonic and Amy are in Love

Sonic and Amy were in love, at one point. They enjoyed spending every moment of their lives together, never once imagining the prospect that they would be torn apart by anything other than a really huge earthquake or a tsunami caused by one. They were golden, ready to live the rest of their lives. Sadly, fate decided this would be an awful idea, and it decided that was a stupid idea.

Sonic died about a year after they finally hooked up. Eggman was up to no good as usual, and had brought out the classic spikey ball on a chain attached to floating pod thing again. It was back in fashion at this time of year, and Eggman has always been known as a stickler for fashion. The ball collided with Sonic's face, causing him to die. Well, not immediately. Eggman checked to see if he was really dead, then bashed the spikey ball into him several more times before concluding that he was probably dead. Eggman went home to go make a strong cup of tea and watch Meerkat Manor.

When Sonic didn't return home at the time he said, Amy got worried. She said, "I'm worried about Sonic..." and went to find out what the hell happened to him. Amy arrived there, and saw what had happened to Sonic. Blood everywhere. His body was torn apart by the ball, but his face was untouched (odd, a spike just got slammed into it repeatedly), and it showed a look of anguish, perhaps he had realized that he was not going to survive. Amy cried imagining it.

Ever since then, Amy's friends have been quoted as saying, "She's fucking insane," among other (although similar) things. Amy started learning how to handle a gun and by three weeks practice was a better shot than Shadow. Shadow found this out when she shot him from 60 feet with a pistol. He had no chance. Amy quietly took Shadow's body and brought it back to her house, where she also kept Sonic's body. Her current aspiration was to revive Sonic using Shadow's powers, but she had no idea how. She strapped up and decided to go pay Eggman a visit.
