chapter 1

Lion-o found a small kitten of a cat like creature getting bullied by some kids. "Leave him alone he did nothing to you!" Lion-o shouted.

"You can't make us," one of the kids said.

Tygra came up from behind them. "You heard Lion-o leave it alone," he said.

The kids ran off at the sight of Tygra. "Thanks Tygra," Lion-o said.

"No problem," Tygra said.

Lion-o got close to the kitten and got off the rope and garbage that was tied to him. "There we go, all done." Lion-o said and then gave it a couple of crackers he had on hand. It ate them up.

Then Lion-o and Tygra snuck him into the palace. "He's great I hope we can keep him," Lion-o said.

"I doubt it Lion-o," Tygra said.

Lion-o and Tygra kept Snarf in Lion-o's room and brought food to him. One day Snarf scampered out and was found by Grune.

Grune took Snarf to the king. "Look at what I found sire, this little critter in the palace, what should we do to the little creature?" Grune asked.

"Leave him alone, I brought him in here," Lion-o said.

"Lion-o you brought him in here?" Claudius asked.

"Yes, some kids were being mean to him, so I brought him home, and Tygra and I have been taking care of him," Lion-o said.

"It's true," Tygra said.

"Can I keep him?" Lion-o said.

"Well it looks like you have been doing a good job you may keep him," Claudius said.

Lion-o took Snarf in his arms.

"Lion-o he should be yours and not ours after all you did most of his care," Tygra said.

"I'm going to call you Snarf," Lion-o said.

Lion-o went out to the royal jeweler and he had a custom collar made for Snarf letting everyone in Thundera he belonged to him.
