Hey ya'll! I know I have not updated this story in FOREVER! I can't give an excuse for me disappearing like that...because I don't have one. But I have returned and hopefully I won't disappear like that again. Because of the amount of time that I haven't been on here my writing style has changed and developed.

So, I am going to bere-writing all the chapters I have made so far along with writing new chapters. Thank you for understanding and I hope you enjoy my newly edited first chapter.

Lucy's POV

I sigh as I sluggishly walk towards the school building, wishing I had taken the car rather than walked all the way to school.

Today my first day at this school, despite the fact that it was already half way through the year. But, it wasn't my fault I was kicked out of my old school, well it kind of was.

But now, my Father is making me go to Fairy Tail Academy, a magic school. I've never been to a magic school so I am kind of nervous.

Once I reach the school gate I look up at the building and my mouth hangs open in awe. It was huge!

"Well, I guess it's better than my last school," I say out loud, still staring at the magnificent school.

I finally decide that I should make my way to the principal's office at walk through the gates, taking in all the scenery as I wonder around the school.

While I am looking around for the office I bump into a wall that I didn't even realize was there. I rub my forehead, hoping that I wouldn't get a bruise, and look up to find that what I had bumped into was in fact, not a wall.

"Sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going," I apologise at the young man standing in front of me.

He was quite muscular and looked about my age. He has bluish grey eyes, his blond hair was slicked back with numerous spiky strands pointing backwards while some of them fell down to his forehead. He had a lightning shaped scar going over his right eye. He was pretty tall and you could tell just by looking at him that he was very powerful.

I don't want to get on the bad side of this wall.

"Well, watch where you're going next time, Blondie," he said with a slight smirk on his face, obviously amused by my new found nickname, "oh, and I know I'm handsome but, could you stop staring at me? It's creepy."

"H-Hey! I wasn't staring!" I shout at him, annoyed at his narcissistic attitude, "you're just blocking my line of vision."

"Whatever you say, Blondie," he replies, his smirk refusing to leave is face. He turns around and begins to walk away.

I clench my fists in anger and bit my lip to keep myself from letting out some very morbid threats.

I am going to kick that guy's ass one day...

"Okay, so here is your schedule and here is your dorm key, I'll get my grandson to take you to your classes," Principal Makarov says and hands me my key and schedule.

He presses a button on the microphone that sits on his desk and leans in to speak into it.

"Laxus Dreyar, to the Principal's office, NOW!" he shouts, shocking me half to death.

I wonder what Laxus is like...well if he is the Principal's grandson he must be a pretty good guy. I wonder if he is cute...

"Lucy dear, why are you smirking like that?" Principal Makarov says and snaps me out of my thoughts.

"H-Huh? I wasn't...," I try to say but am interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Makarov shouts and the door flies open.

"What do you want old man?" a guy says as he steps into the room.

I turn around to see who it is and the realization hits me like a brick when I see the familiar scar on his face.

"You!" I shout and stand up off of my chair.

He looks at me in return and raises his brow, that annoying smirk creeping onto his face.

"What? Miss me already, Blondie?" he asks and cross his arms across his chest.

"Why you..."

"Oh Lucy dear, it looks like you already know my grandson, Laxus," Makarov adds, "this makes things easier."

"That's Laxus?! He isn't a good guy at all! And he isn't eve cute!" I whine and Makarov looks at me confused.

"I never said he was a good guy,"

"Looks like Blondie has been fantasizing too much," Laxus butts in and I shoot him a deadly glare before looking back at Makarov.

"He can't show me around! I can't stand him!"

"Lucy, I understand that Laxus can be...difficult, but you'll have to deal with him for now, classes will be starting soon and I don't want to interrupt anyone's lesson."

"But you're fine with interrupting mine?" Laxus asks sarcastically.

"Yes, now go show Lucy around the school, I have paperwork to do."

"I can't believe I have to follow you around," I mutter, an evil aura surrounding me.

"Hey, I'm not happy about a little brat following me around either," Laxus replies. I can tell he is about to snap from all my complaining.

"What did you call me? You whiney bastard!"

"I'm whiney? Have you ever heard yourself speak? All you do is complain!"

"That's it! I'm gonna kill you!" I shout back at him, barely keeping myself from lunging at his neck.

"Like you could even put a scratch on me!"

"What do you two think you are doing in the middle of the cafeteria?" A girl with scarlet red hair says as she walks up to us.

"Stay out of this Erza! Don't make me take you down as well!" Laxus yells at her, obviously still fuming.

"Laxus, don't start another fight," another person says, walking up behind Erza. He doesn't look like a student so he must be a teacher. He looks a bit scruffy though, even his long orange hair looks barely brushed.

"Tch, whatever," Laxus mutters and crosses his arms over his chest.

"You must be the new student, Lucy right?" the teacher asks and steps in front of Erza to stand in front of us.

"Yeah, that's me, and you are...?"

"You can call me Gildarts, I'm not interested in the formalities." he says and looks at Laxus then back at me, "sorry about him, he isn't the social kind."

"I noticed," I reply and roll my eyes. I hear him growl from beside me and I shoot him a glare which he returns right back.

Ding Dong Ding

"Well, good luck in your classes Lucy," Erza says and turns her attention to Laxus, "don't hurt the new girl."

"Whatever, let's go," Laxus retorts and starts to walk away.

"Good luck with that," Gildarts adds and chuckles slightly.

"Yeah, thanks," I reply and follow Laxus to my class.

Time Skip

"Alright guys, what subject is this?" Gildarts asks as he sits down on the chair behind his desk.

"Math!" Everyone shouts in reply.

"Oh...I hate Math so I am going to take a nap, do whatever you want," he says and lays his head down on the desk, "and don't wake me up," he mumbles.

I spot a seat at the back of the class and begin making my way over to it. Suddenly I trip over something and fall flat on my face. I get off of the ground and brush myself off.

I hear someone laughing and look to the side to see Laxus sitting at his desk and laughing at me.

"You gotta be careful, Blondie," he says, still laughing.

"You bastard!" I shout after realizing that it was him that has tripped me over, "get a life!" I swing my arm at him and punch him in the face, causing him to fly straight out of the window.

I turn around to see that everyone was staring at me with shocked expressions.

"That was awesome! No one can usually even touch Laxus!" said a boy with spiky pink hair, "my name's Natsu! Let's be friends, kay?"

"Okay..." I said, not knowing exactly how to reply.

"Nice job, wish I could do that," another boy said, this time with raven black hair.

"U-U-Ummm..." I stutter once I realize more than just the colour of his hair.

"What's the matter?" he asks, noticing my nervousness.

"W-Why...Why are you naked?!" I finally choke out.

He looks down to see what I was talking about.

"Oh shit! Not again!" Gray blurts out and leaves to look for his clothes.

"Hi, my name's Levy, I can't believe you just punched Laxus..." a girl says as she walks up to me along with the girl that has scarlet hair.

"I'm Erza, the class president, if anyone gives you trouble just talk to me or the vice president, jellal, and we will help you out."

People continue to start to surround me and I can't help but smile at the sudden amount of potential friends around me.

Laxus' POV

I can't believe that Blondie was able to punch me like that! And out of a window too!

I smirk and start making my way back to the classroom. She is going to be really interesting to play with.

Once I make it to the room I slam open the door and scan the room for Blondie.

"Hey! You Blond Bimbo!" I shout at her, hoping to get her riled up.

Her attention draws to me and I can see that my comment had really gotten her pissed off.

"What did you just call me?!" she shouts back and makes her way over to me.

Everyone looks in our direction and I scowl slightly at the unnecessary attention.

"What the hell gives you the right to call me that? huh?"

"What the hell gives you the right to punch me? huh?"

"Oh wow, you couldn't come up with something original?" she snaps at me and grabs me by my shirt collar, "I wouldn't have to punch you if you weren't such an asshole!"

"DENTENTION! BOTH OF YOU!" I hear someone shout and I look to the side to see that Gildarts had woken up.

Just great.
