LOKI
My Loki has faked his own death, as in Thor 2, and is now traveling the 9 Realms. Sometimes he is in disguise, but usually not.
He is still his mischievous self, but on a smaller scale lest someone notice. He greatly misses his mother- and, on occasion, Thor and Odins face when he informed him of Lokideathll find it.
Het spoken since she saw her mother murdered by one of the Dark Elf invaders in Asgard.
Loki feels like itt find out about his wife dying and kids going to an orphanage until after the fact and sneaked into Asgard in disguise and adopted them legally so no one would have cause to come after them.
They currently live in his apartment in New York. Loki fills in his time teaching Norse mythology at the local university.
TONY
Much of my Tony's RP back story comes from the fanfic Push by phoenixreal. You must all read it- it is amazing! And yes, I have phoenixreal's permission to do this.
Tony was a prodigy at a young age, something any parent would be proud of- unless that parent was obsessed with finding Captain America.
Howard was aware Tony was smart, but didn't consider him smart enough. He often dragged Tony with him on expeditions to find Cap- the almost habitual failure of these expeditions would send Howard into a drunken rage of which Tony was the main target.
His medical file shows a childhood of broken bones, dislocated joints and mysterious bruises and burns. Each time a nurse or doctor wanted to call Child Services, money changed hands, names in files where blacked out and staff were warned to stay quiet if they valued their jobs.
Tony thought he'd found some form of escape when he got into MIT at the age of 14, only to find himself bullied and abused by older students who were jealous. He had his first drink there, became a full blown alcoholic (and user of illegal substances) almost instantly. He favored drugs that would slow his super powered mind down enough so he could sleep- or at least cope.
After his parent's deaths he ended up in rehab for the first time and it stuck for awhile- until the pressures of running Stark Industries got to be too much and he cracked.
As always Rhoedy stood by his friend, as he had since MIT, and helped where he could.
Things got better when Pepper was hired, she was not phased by the man and his antics and was able to mostly keep him in line.
Tony to this day hides his pain, former addictions and a few suicide attempts from everyone using his brash personality to keep most people at bay. However, this personality is mostly an artificial construct- created as a mask at a young age to hide the pain inflicted by his father, fellow students and then Obadiah.
He likes Bruce more than the other Avengers, more for their similar childhoods and love of science than anything else. The others are okay by him, though he feels Cap can be a bit preachy. Though the blonde was his childhood idol, and you know what they say about meeting your idols...don't.
