To bear the sins of the children inhabiting the earth below,

The moon devoured its own silvery light

A girl,

She sits alone on a pitch black night

Sad as nights' dark viel descends

But lo, the moon nestles into the night sky.

Silvery and full, banishing the dark from wence it came.

When dawn breaks

The night of attonment quietly departs

And the children welcome a new day

However, the one girl left the world of the children.

For a physical sacrifice had to be made

But do not fret, for she became something more.

Something that the children below may forget,

But shall always be there to never forget them.
