Before you read:
What is this? This is going to be a collection of drabbles I'm doing for the DracoxHermione pairing. This is the first, there shall be sixteen in all (as I have planned), four for each season (Hence the title, "A Year with Draco and Hermione". I'm bad at titles, I'm sorry!).
When is this? However, before you read I'd like to say this: These drabbles are my view of typical days in Hermione and Draco's relationship after they were to get together. In other words, it's at a point in time where they do not completely deplore each other, and so yes, according to canon, it might be considered "out of character." (But is it really out of character when it's just a later point in their lives, after relationships have changed? ) I'm just trying to ward those comments off. Thanks. And also, a warning to all who haven't read up through Half Blood Prince: There very well might be spoilers in here for any of the books, one through six. I'm warning you now, so read at your own risk.

War and Peace
Laughter.
Wondrous snowballs thrown, shrill cries of failure and triumph; proof of the current battle.
Splat.
"Yes!"
Half-hearted growl of annoyance. "Draco! You're going down!"
Stuck-out tongue in response, followed by a snicker. "I'd like to see you try!"
She scrabbled for more ammo! He ran, laughing, behind the mediocre ice fort he had conjured, sticking his tongue out once more as he dodged.
Hermione ran towards him, attempting to pelt him with the icy ammunition.
Victory!
Triumphant laughter.
An angry growl; retaliation.
Miss.
"Missed me, missed me, now you've gotta…"
"Kiss me…"
Lips touched softly—
…And there was peace.
