Iris stood on top of the hill, clutching her hat between her hands. Nervously, she jumped from left foot to right foot, and looked up at Colonel. "Brother, do I have to do this?"
He nodded. She sighed.

Taking a deep breath, Iris slowly walked down the hill. Placing her hat on her head, she smoothed it out more from anxiety then need.

"Iris… I'm so sorry." Hanging his head, Zero felt the tears roll down his cheeks. Iris looked up, startled.
"No… no, it's not you fault!" Jumping to her feet, she put her face in front of his. "Zero, it's not your fault."

"Yes, it's me," she said, but he eyes seemed to go through her. He can't see me, she thought sadly.
Then, upon impulse, she through her arms around him and kissed. For one brief, sweet moment, she could touch him. She could feel his body next to hers.
The feeling faded fast, and she slowly backed away. "Please believe me, Zero," she whispered, and walked away.

Walking back up the hill, she stood next to her brother. "Did I do good?" She asked. He nodded.
"Yes, you did."
"Do you think he will stop coming now?"
"Yes, I think he will." With that, he began to walk away. Iris followed, then turned around. Looking at Zero, she shouted:
"It wasn't your fault Zero! What happened on Final Weapon, when I died, it wasn't your fault. None of it was your fault!"
