| | Means song lyric

| Every night in my dreams

I see you

I feel you

That is how I know you

Go on |

Iris stood on top of the hill, clutching her hat between her hands. Nervously, she jumped from left foot to right foot, and looked up at Colonel. "Brother, do I have to do this?"

He nodded. She sighed.

| Far across the distance

And spaces

Between us

You have come to show you

Go on |

"He deserves to know the truth."

"But what if he doesn't listen to me?"

"You have to try, Iris. He would do the same for you."

| Near

Far

Where ever you are

I believe that the heart does

Go on |

Taking a deep breath, Iris slowly walked down the hill. Placing her hat on her head, she smoothed it out more from anxiety then need.

He was there, as always. As he had been every night before.

| Once more

You open the door

And you're here in my heart and

My heart will

Go on and on |

"Zero?" The voice came out cracked and choked. After so long if trying to do this, she actually was. "Zero… are you listening?"

No response.

| Love can touch us one time

And last for

A lifetime

And never left go till

We're gone |

"Please Zero, you have to listen to me! It wasn't your fault! None of it was!" Crying, she touched a step forward and touched his face. Her hand went through.

| Love was when I love you

One true time

I hold to

And never let go till

We're gone |

"Zero…." Tears streaming done her face, she closed her eyes. Swallowing hard, she wiped away the tears. "Why won't you listen to me!"

| Near

Far

Where ever you are

I believe that the heart does

Go on |

"Damn you!" she screamed, and punched him in the face. Her fist went through him, reminding her of what he was. "Why won't you listen to me?" She asked again, crumpling onto the ground.

| Once more

You open the door

And you're hear in my heart and

My heart will

Go on and on |

"Iris… I'm so sorry." Hanging his head, Zero felt the tears roll down his cheeks. Iris looked up, startled.

"No… no, it's not you fault!" Jumping to her feet, she put her face in front of his. "Zero, it's not your fault."

Slowly, he looked up. "Iris?"

| You're here

There's nothing I fear

And I know

That the heart will

Go on |

"Yes, it's me," she said, but he eyes seemed to go through her. He can't see me, she thought sadly.

Then, upon impulse, she through her arms around him and kissed. For one brief, sweet moment, she could touch him. She could feel his body next to hers.

The feeling faded fast, and she slowly backed away. "Please believe me, Zero," she whispered, and walked away.

| We'll stay

Forever this way

You are safe in my heart and

My heart will

Go on and on |

Walking back up the hill, she stood next to her brother. "Did I do good?" She asked. He nodded.

"Yes, you did."

"Do you think he will stop coming now?"

"Yes, I think he will." With that, he began to walk away. Iris followed, then turned around. Looking at Zero, she shouted:

"It wasn't your fault Zero! What happened on Final Weapon, when I died, it wasn't your fault. None of it was your fault!"
