Aren't annoying original characters FUN? ^_^ Well, anyways, the English
digidestined team meet the Japanese team, and together they fight a new
evil! (Sound familiar?) It really centers around Matt 'n' Tai's
relationship, and the only reason I put made-up characters in is because I
needed one of them to play matchmaker! So if you like Taito and action, you
must read on!
DISCLAIMER:
Matt: This insane girl does NOT own Digimon, THANK GOD! Can you IMAGINE what'd be happening if she did?
(Note: This fic is MST-positive, meaning I don't care if you MST it)
LET'S BEGIN!
The English Matchmaker -
Chapter one: 'I really hate life – Matt's POV'
(Yes, one last note: Chapter one centers round Matt and his feelings towards Tai. The English Digidestined aren't in it yet)
---Matt's apartment---
Matt's POV
Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. I am late. AGAIN. I scoff my breakfast and fiddle with my hair for a few minutes. Dad left ages ago, without waking me up. Typical! Someday he'll oversleep and I'll leave without poking him awake. That'll teach him! But Dad is not important right now. I have to get to school, and meet up with…
Him.
He is the missing piece in the puzzle that is my heart. I love him, I crave him, I need him…
But I can't have him. He's a guy, and so am I. Dad taught me that homosexuality was wrong. Tai probably thinks that too, and admitting my feelings to him would mean the end of our friendship. UGH! WHY does life torture me so much? It laughs at my pain, and savours every drop of my unhappiness. Why, if life had a physical form, I'd be beating the living daylights out of it…
"CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO!"
"OH SHUT UP YOU STUPID WOODEN BIRD……OH DAMN!" I realise how long I've been thinking. I'm VERY late now. See, I told you life hated me. I grab my things and sprint out of the apartment. Boy, am I screwed.
---School, lunch time---
"Man, was Miss. Yuki pissed!" Tai exclaimed. I don't listen. I'm too busy examining his perfect build. "Why were you so late Matt?...Matt? MATT!" I almost fall of my chair with fright. "Matt, were you listening to a word I just said?"
"Um..."
"Matt, you've been acting strange lately. What's up?"
"Well, I…" I'm cut short by Izzy.
"Good afternoon, Matt! Good afternoon, Tai! Sorry, am I interrupting something?"
"NO! I mean, no, not at all." Tai shoots me a funny look, and I shrug back. Then, I focus on my lunch. Sushi, wow! Still, it's better than facing that look Tai's giving me.
I really hate life.

Izumi: Ugh, what a crappy beginning! Still, just you wait 'til Matt and Tai's relationship starts to bloom…THEN things will get interesting! ^_^
