Ron had been dating hermione granger for 3 years now. 3 YEARS! And they were in love deeply but there was 1 problem.
Harry And Ginny,WERE MARRIED! After 1 year of dating after the battle. So ron got the idea he should propose. He bought a ring for tonight, It was September 19th,2001 In London and Ron was taking hermione out for a birthday Dinner. He took her to one
of those fancy places that cost $10 for a salad.
"Ron, you did not have to take me here! its so fancy!" hermione said, Ron replied with a soft smile and said "Well Its your birthday and i have been saving up for 1 year and after getting paid putting a 3 sickles behind in a drawer for this night"
"Ron! you did not have to do that! I Love you" she said
"I love you too! But i only used half for this dinner the other half is for something else!" he said "What! What! Ron what!" she replied excitedly.

After they ordered their food they talked and talked until ron payed they check (1 sickle= 5 Pounds...pounds is $2 US dollars)
"Hermione get in the car, i am taking you somewhere you never believe!" ron said.
"Okay! I Cant Wait!" Hermione said.
Ron blind folded her and she sat in the back seat. He drove to the leaky cauldron, and got her out of the car,He covered her ears and took her up to a suite room, it costed 10 galleons a night, (Harry Gave the free night as a birthday gift in march) And
took of the blind fold.
"The Leaky Cauldron!" she said eyeing the beautiful view of the sky and king size bed.
"I could of used this room when i was here in 3rd year" She added
"why?" ron asked, "Because crookshanks likes to take up half of the bed rolling around on it" she replied.
"want to go to diagon alley?" he said. "Yes! of course!" she replied with the look of happiness on your face.
They walked down to the brick wall and tapped the brick and entered diagon alley. It had brand new ice cream places,stores,and Motels.
"should we go to your brothers shop?" she asked.
"Okay! but first lets get some ice-cream!" ron said, eyeing the ice cream like a little child.
"You read my mind" she said.
while in the ice cream shop, hermione saw people eyeing them and hermione thought it was because of the war and how she's friends with 'the chosen one' but they were eyes rons pocket too.
'wondering about his money is his pocket, huh?' hermione thought. Not knowing there was a beautiful diamond ring.
After 20 minutes of eating ice cream (Yes,20 Minutes, for someone who loves food as much as ron, he is a slow eater)
He finally worked up the courage to do it.
"Hermione we have known each other for 10 years about" He said getting down on one knee, Her Eyes Widening "And in those 10 years i have never stopped loving you! so hermione jean granger, will you do the honors of marrying me?" Ron asked.

but after thats done you hear the response...
"YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES! HERMIONE GRANGER WOULD BE HONORED TO MARRY RON WEASLEY AND BECOME APARTOF YOUR AMAZING FAMILY" she said loudly.
They kissed and slid the ring on. The words engraved on it is,
