I don't claim to own any part of the Lion King, I'm sure that Disney does. I just write weird stories.

What if Pumbaa never got away Revisited

For all of you people who obviously are a lot more realistic than myself, I have written you a story that you will probably like more than the first one. It's filled with reality. I just want to say that I don't write these for reality (hence the name fan fiction). I think reality sucks, but it might be potentially funny under the right conditions. Here you go:

Nala was chasing Pumbaa, and I don't believe for a second that he could have gotten away or stalled long enough to let Simba come to his rescue. I just don't. Here's how the story probably should have gone:

She tore at his hind parts with her huge claws. His screams of pain only lasted a moment, for when her jaws were around his throat, his life was over. She chewed a bit of skin off of his torso and tried to eat it. It was very tough, but better than the nothing she was used to eating. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a lion coming right at her. He toppled her over, his eyes not brimming over with tears since real lions don't cry (though I'm sure that their eyes water from time to time due to the harsh desert like conditions most wild lions live in). He didn't say anything, since lions can't talk.

Nala flipped the other lion onto his back and didn't realize that he looked very familiar. But she did realize that he smelled familiar. She "remembered" him from all those years ago on that big rock where a lot of lions live (aka Pride Rock, but why would lions name their home?).

Meanwhile Timone was speechless, since meerkats don't talk. He had watched the entire thing. Pumbaa (I mean nameless warthog) was not his best friend, in fact, they weren't friends at all because they were just wild animals. Simba (I mean nameless lion) and Nala (nameless lioness) continued fighting over the meat.

Now, I doubt that they would have been in this situation at all, since the nameless lion would have been killed by the nameless warthog when he was just a cub.

Lions and hyenas aren't friends and lions are just animals and can't be evil. They would have eaten Rafiki, and they certainly wouldn't have ceremonies with him.
