Summary: Never before has a dream been so terrifying.

The landscape was pitch black, an inkiness that nothing could ever hope to match. Here there was nothing no beginning and certainly no end. There wasn't even noise; no static hum filled the area, the darkness, the hell. Slowly, so slowly that it looked almost to be an illusion brought on by being locked in this darkness for so long, smoke began to creep into the darkness. It started as a small pin prick in the distance and rapidly started to increase in mass even if the movement was slow like fluff being squeezed out of a small tear in the veil of darkness. Through all this there still was no sound, not even breathing, not even as the silver storm cloud churned violently within itself as wraith like arms reached out of the mass trying to secure a hold before being ripped back and folded back inside the mass. During this endless process the mass continued to grow, reaching trying to fill the black landscape.

It was almost sudden, but where there was once darkness and the silver mass of clouds surrounded the once dark landscape. It continued to churn in anger; still grabbing, reaching, choking, ice cold and ridge there seemed to be nothing that could stop the cloud from consuming him in its depths. But still no sound existed; no screams escaped his throat everything was swallowed by the churning clouds and the flashing light that they emitted every time they reached for him. Through all this eternity he couldn't breath couldn't attack his attacker because one cannot battle air.

There was a subtle change, one he almost missed but the razor sharp chill that the cloudy mass had first carried around with its attack was starting to ebb away to be replaced with an warm almost loving touch. The clouds were suddenly caressing him where it once had been choking him and suddenly there was a small amount of sound. But for being in such a soundless area for who knows how long it was deafening.

Gradually the smoke began to part like a slow curtain it began to compact on itself, paving a path for him into the unknown. Normally it would be the path he never would have gone down, normally, but every time he tried to walk through the cloudy mass it pushed him back towards the opening. Setting himself up for the possibility of an attack, he slowly started down the black path. Turning around he watched as the clouds closed up behind him. Turning back to the tunnel that was being formed in front of him he slowly followed the path, not looking at anything but the black shadow, silver clouds churned around him and the silence had returned but this time it wasn't a deafening one.

He watched in amazement as the black void began to fade letting colour begin to appear in the distance. Grey faded to green and laughter could be heard flitting through the mass. Holding his breath he slowly made his way out of the cloud mass. Standing on the hill he looked out across the park like atmosphere below him. There were children playing around, laughing, chasing one another, but all around this playground the silver clouds swirled creating a massive wall. Turning to glance behind him he watched silently as the path finished closing up, curling in on itself removing his only way to escape. He had no other choice but to go forward into the park, even now though he could hear the laughter began to fade.

Stumbling backwards he stared down at the little girl who had suddenly appeared in front of him. Studying the tiny fairy like child, he took in the violet eyes and the shocking white hair that covered her head and fell stick straight down to her waist. She was smiling up at him and it was all he could do to not shutter at the sinister smiled on that four-year-olds face as she daintily clasped her hands in front of her.

"Welcome to my playground, Sam Winchester."
