Sakura Haruno stared up at the full moon but her eyes got caught by the attention of a fluttering leaf. The leaf was quite large and caught the light in such a way it's red looked like fire. She fallowed it but stopped frozen when she saw something else in it's path.

Sasuke Uchiha. He stood there staring wide eye at the young woman. He noticed her gaze and looked away and cringed. He began to step forward but Sakura was already running towards him.

"Sasuke! No Sasuke wait," Sakura begged. Sasuke found his feet unable to move. As the woman reached him she jumped and threw her arms around his neck. He could feel her warm tears on his neck.

"Sasuke, your home. But why?" She asked in between sobs.

"I'm not here for long. I'm here to retrieve something." Sasuke explained softly. He let go of his restraints and let himself stroke her beautiful soft hair.

"What is it?" Sakura asked.

"I can't tell you."

"When will you come back?" She begged. Sasuke's eyes narrowed sadly.

"Never Sakura. I can't."

"But why? Everyone will forgive you! Just stop it all and come home please for me?" Sakura asked. Her voice was desperate and raised to a yell. She was sobbing now and her green eyes entranced Sasuke. He leaned forward resting his head on Sakura's shoulder. Her hands found their way around his neck.

"I want to, but I can't. You wouldn't understand." Sasuke said softly. He looked up at her and pressed his lips to her. A soft moan escaped Sakura's lips and she pushed herself closer to him. Sasuke pushed her away and turn around to hide his own tears.

"I love you." Sakura confessed. Sasuke looked down at his feet.

"I know." With that Sasuke disappeared. As he ran as fast as he could he wiped away his tears and whispered to the wind. "I love you too."
