"Chao?" the young creature asked as the powerful hedgehog loomed over him.

"Shadow, please leave Cheese alone," Amy sighed as she grabbed her bag.

"Why am i babysitting the Chao anyway?" Shadow asked, rather disgruntled.

"You're not babysitting, Cream just went to get Tails, I'm sure she'll take Cheese back the moment they all get here."

"Who else did you invite?" The ebony hedgehog asked as he leaned back.

"Just us, Tails, Cream and Cheese and Sonic and Knuckles." Shadow simply nodded before disappearing into a day-dream.

"I'm hungry," Amy complained as the small group of friends walked through the shopping centre.

"200 dollars for a shirt? That is beyond ridiculous, to charge so much for a piece of fabric, its lud-"

"Shadow are you even paying attention?"

"200 god-damn dollars-"

"Shadow!"

"Sorry, Rose. What's wrong?"

"Can we please get something to eat?"

"Fine."

Amy, Tails and Cream and Cheese watched in astonishment as Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow stuffed their mouths full of food, each one refusing to be outdone by the other.

"I...just lost my appetite," Amy sighed as she pushed her food away.

"Ha! I beat you both Faker and Knuckle-brain!" Sonic shouted triumphantly.

'Stuff you faker!' Shadow thought as he grabbed a handful of fries. Using all the skill of the ultimate life form, Shadow launched the handful of fries at Sonics nose. The fries collided with maximum impact.

"This means war, Shadow," Sonic said darkly as he pealed the fries off his nose. Using skill equal to Shadow, Sonic threw the fries back. The ebony hedgehog simply ducked. He forgot Amy was next to him. Shadows eyes widened as he realised the projectile had slapped the pink hedgehog.

"Sonic!"

"*gulp* Sorry Ames-"

"You're gonna die Sonic!" Shadow felt his smile grow wide as Amy and himself grabbed yet another handful of fries. Shadow wasn't sure weither it was his fault or Amy's, but one of their handfuls collided with a dinner lady in a very undesirable place. The ogre-like woman stormed up to the group of friends.

"I'm sorry, but if you don't leave this area immediately I'll have to call security." Unfortunately for the group, Shadow was still ticked off.

"I AM THE ULTIMATE LIFE FORM, DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT MAKE ME GO PSYCHOPATH ON YOU!"

"That may be, but your still going to have to leave sir." Shadow opened his mouth to retaliate, but he didn't get the chance as Amy grabbed hold of him and frog-marched him out of the area.
