"On your left."
Cap turned to his left to see a gold circle appear in midair. It started small and grew bigger until it was big enough for people to walk through, which they did. Well, one walked while the other flew through the opening.
"Bucky? ... Sam," Cap said almost like a whisper as he looked at Bucky then watched Sam soar overhead.
"Hey Steve," Bucky said walking up to Steve and putting his hand on Steve's shoulder, "Looks like you're about to do something stupid. It's a good thing we brought backup."
Bucky turned to look behind him.
Steve grasped Bucky's shoulder, not believing he was really there until that moment then turned to see a few more people step through the portal.
At this moment, T'Challa, Okoye and Shuri walked through the portal. T'Challa nodded to Cap, who nodded back.
Then more and more portals started to open ... Guardians, Asguardians, Ravagers and others appeared and lined up behind Cap.
"Avengers ..."
Cap held out his hand, summoning Mjolnir which flew into his hand quickly.
"Assemble!"

"Hey, Cap." Bucky greeted Sam.
"What? ... Oh, yeah. Hey, Sidekick," Sam replied looking back down at the Shield on his arm.
"I'm nobody's sidekick … Give me a moment with Steve, will ya?"
"Sure, whatever you say," Sam said as he passed by. Then a few feet away, Sam turned around to add, "Sidekick!" Grinning, Sam turned back around and walked over to show Bruce the gift he had just received.
Bucky shook his head then sat down next to Steve.
"So, was it all that you hoped for, Punk?"
"Well," Steve turned to Bucky and smiled, "All that and more."
"Good, I'm happy for you. Hope you will tell me all about it sometime. Are you sticking around or is there some ... where you need to be?"
"I'll be around."
"Good ... good." Bucky stared out at the lake.
A few moments of companionable silence passed.
"Sam will be a good Cap."
"I know. That's why I gave him the shield. So ... what about you? What do you want to do, Bucky?"
"What?"
"What are you going to do now?"
"I don't know. The world has changed so much. Not sure where I fit in ... what I'm allowed to do ... what I'm qualified to do."
"You can do anything you want, Buck."
Bucky turned to look at Steve. "You sure about that?"
Steve looked at Bucky. "Yes."
"Right ... you do know who you're talking to, right, old man? I think my options are pretty limited."
"Bucky, you're right in that the world has changed, in some ways for the better and in some ways worse, but either of those provides opportunities for you, just figure out what you want to do."
Bucky took in what Steve said and tried to take it to heart.
"I'll be here to guide you, if needed. Take advantage of my experience."
"Experience?"
"Yep, I've lived a couple of lifetimes, I might know a thing or two."
"What? Wait ... does this mean you're older than me now?"
Steve considers the question for a moment.
"Yeah, I think it does ... at least 4 years, probably more." Steve grinned. "I know you were taught to respect your elders, so listen to me."
"Uh ... I'm not sure I can handle this," Bucky replied then with a laugh said, "You're still a Punk."
