So my first one-shot on my most favourite couple, its not much but i needed to post a little something in rememberance of them. All in the title really! :)
He gently moved a strand of hair from her cold flushed face. She was beautiful, thought James. As she stared into his gold flecked green eyes, Lily felt as if she were seeing him for the first time. She gazed, lost in the deep passion she saw in the golden orbs; not being able to understand what the passion was yet extremely mesmerised.
He didn't realise how close he had come toward her face, his eyes still locked onto her emerald ones, greener than ever before. He felt sweet warm breath, and briefly glanced at her flawlessly, rosy lips.
A glimpse of that perfect mouth, his lips slightly parted in the way she always found adorable. She could feel the warmth radiating off of him, mingled with his boyish sent as she felt her eyes flutter close.
His lips gently brushed against hers, in the most feather-like of touches. The feeling of his warm lips against her cool but soft ones, as she gently kissed him back was the most perfect feeling ever. His every sense was intensified, her head was spinning with an eccentric sensation, and it was absolutely wonderful.
After what seemed an eternity, they both pulled away utterly breathless, and James lent his forehead softly against Lily's with the biggest grin plastered to his face and said in his incredibly breathless voice,
"Thanks,"
To which she innocently replied,
"What for?"
"The best kiss I've ever had," Lily smiled; it had been her's too. And as she once again lost herself in those glowing orbs, she realised what that passion was.
It was love.
And it was all for her.
