Chapter I:
The Demon City's Hunter
I awaken this morning with the sun hitting my eyes. It's rather a bright day for this month. Lets see, it's 9:00 am and no one woke me. I get out of the bed and head downstairs. Seeing everything the same as it was since we moved.
A war broke out in our old home town, called Bloodsville. The name came from all the wars that were fought within the town. Especially since every final battle occurred there as well. The grounds of Bloodsville are stained with the blood of all those who have died within those wars.
Here in Divine City...lets just say I'm the person who always gets called. This particular has problems of its own. Why am I here? I am here because it gives me the job I do best...Demon Hunting.
I answer a ringing phone in the living room. Typical everyday morning in this city. I just hope this job will be worth it. I'm running out of supplies.
"Athrun's Hunting House. What's the target and payment?" I said in the phone.
"Hello Athrun, it's The Mayor and we have a hostile demon terrorizing downtown and we need you to take it out. Your payment will be 500 dollars cash." The Mayor said.
"Mr. Mayor we have a deal," I said. I hung up the phone and began walking to the weapon's vault. As I got near the entrance of the weapons vault I saw my wife upon the way to it. "Good morning Sakura."
"Good morning Athrun," Sakura said with a smile on her face. She was the only thing I have close left. My family is gone due to the results of war. Sakura and I are all we have left of each other. Today Sakura is wearing the black dress I've gotten her the day we moved in. It matches perfectly with her blue eyes and brown hair. "I guess that call was for another job."
"Yes. I wish I could have a day off though. We can have the entire day to ourselves and then have the greatest time of our lives. Do you think you'll be okay by the time I get back?" I asked.
"Yes I'll be fine Athrun. Just come back to me safe okay," Sakura said. I smiled and began to walk by and then she placed her hand on my shoulder. She spun me around and kissed me. "Please Athrun. I want to hear the words come from your mouth."
"I'll come back Sakura. Safe and sound." I said. I entered the arsenal, grabbed my dual revolvers and katana. I left out the door and went straight for downtown Divine city.
