Alex Rider

Alex Rider was at home lying on his bed, thinking of past events. He had been fighting against crime in many missions before, but his last mission had endangered his best friend, Sabina Pleasure! He could not let that happen again, she had moved away to Sanfransisco. He would never see her again. He hoped that MI6 would leave him alone now, he was so depressed.

Jack, his housekeeper and good friend, had put the house up for sale, and they had just moved into a new house in Milton Keynes. It wasn't a very good place to live Alex reckoned, it was the man made city! The city that was planed! And in Alex's opinion, it was rubbish. The roads were at exact crossroads to each other, it was like a maze to get anywhere. The shops were ok, but they got boring after a while. Jack had given him some money to go to 'Xcape' (the cinema snow slope complex) and watch a film, but it didn't cheer him up much. She had even booked him in for snowboarding lessons, but as he had done it before, he was soon moved up to expert and they had nothing else to teach him. He was given for his birthday a pass to go to slope whenever he wanted as well as a snowboard. That was the only thing he ever enjoyed doing. He had met his only new friend (David Tucker) there and enjoyed racing down the slope with him. School was bad as well, it was tacky and the teachers were, to be honest, dumb! Everyone there was either, a rude boy, or a solid. But today was a Sunday and the shops were closed, Xcape was closed, his friend was at his grandma's and school wasn't on on a Sunday, so Alex had nothing to do. He missed his old friend Sabina, and couldn't get MI6 out of his mind. He had had too many experiences that most people never experience in their life, let alone 14!

He couldn't keep thinking about this, he had to go out and get some fresh air he thought he would just go around the block until he got bored out of his mind. He had walked just a little way when he saw a familiar face, he looked down and muttered "o no, please, not you! I hoped you wouldn't find me."
