Chapter 1 – Talyn
I stood in awe at the scene in front of me. Only moments ago, I'd been casting a spell to release my sealed powers. Now I stood in front of an odd group including a demon boy with white hair. I was sure I'd sent myself to the metaphysical realm.
"Inuyasha do you think she's some sort of demon?" the dark haired boy asked the demon boy
" She doesn't smell like a demon. But not human either" Inuyasha replied and looked at me "lets ask her."
"What's with that outfit?" a dark haired girl in a schoolgirl outfit asked
" I could ask you the same. Boyfriend got a schoolgirl fetish?" I shot back; I couldn't stand shots at my wardrobe.
"Are you some sort of demon?" the dark haired boy insisted ignoring my comment at the girl
" Not to my knowledge." I shrugged "what's it to you?"
" Well you did pop in out of nowhere" A girl with a huge boomerang stated
" Hey it's not like I asked to be sent here. I was just casting a spell to unseal my powers in my room and then poof!" I made an exploding motion with my hands "here I am in the metaphysical realm."
"Metaphysical realm?" the schoolgirl looked confused
" Yeah you know, where demons and other such mystical and mythological creatures can actually thrive" I explained getting strange looks " I know I'm not in My world there's a demon staring right at me"
"
This is feudal Japan," the dark haired boy stated flatly
"Ha! I could sell the spell I used to thousands of sci-fi buffs!" I exclaimed, " Time travel. But not only time travel, I went from America to feudal Japan!"
"Your from America!" the schoolgirl repeated in shock "my time?"
I frowned, "Is that all you guys can do? I'm tired of answering questions."
"I take it you've got questions of your own," the dark haired boy conceded.
"Thank you. First off, who are you?" I asked
"I'm Kagome," the schoolgirl stated
"My name is Sango," the girl with the giant boomerang added
" May I introduce myself," the dark haired boy bowed and took my hands " my name is Miroku. Will you do the honor of bearing my children?"
Sango smacked him with her boomerang "cool down you pervert!"
" You already know my name" Inuyasha stated folding his arms angrily
"Jeez, what crawled up your ass?" I asked and looked at Sango " Inuyasha always this much of a grouch?"
" If you mean temperamental then yes" Sango sighed "may I ask why you have such unusual clothes?"
" I made them myself. I love belled sleeves and long skirts. And black because I didn't have much color choice" I replied with a smile
"Last question. Are you human?" Miroku asked rubbing his head.
" Sometimes I wonder that myself. But that's what my parents tell me." I shrugged
" She's not human!" Inuyasha growled "if anything she's a hanyou."
I raised an eyebrow "hanyou?"
"Half demon." Sango explained "what makes you say that Inuyasha?"
" Her scent isn't human" Inuyasha scoffed and looked at me " not even half"
I shrugged " I always figured I was adopted"
When I turned to walk away Sango grabbed my shoulder " where are you going?"
"I need to find someplace to think up a reversal spell" I glanced back " can't do that with dog boy glaring at me."
"What did you call me!?" Inuyasha yelled
I smirked " don't get your panties in a bunch. I was making a joke. Your worse than my brother"
Kagome stifled a laugh " they won't get it… what was your name again?"
" My name is Talyn" I gave her a grin as I started to walk away again.
