Luna Lovegood was waiting on the Ravenclaw table eating breakfast, it was Friday and Luna was feeling strangely happy it could of been the fact that she had defence against the dark arts with the Griffindoor's next or that she had just spotted her father's small brown owl flying towards her with a large package, a rare treat as he never had the time to keep in contact with her.
"hello Toffee" she exclaimed (her father's owl was not called 'Toffee' her name actually was Lucia, but Luna renamed it according to the colour of its feathers the same colour as the buttery toffee she use to make with her mum) "do you have something for me?" Lucia dropped the letter and flew off in one swift movement, Luna caught the letter an opened the crisp white parchment.

Exciting news, I have been conducting a study of crumple horned snorcack sightings around the globe for the past few month. There have been more sightings of them in Australia than anywhere else! A man who lives on the Gold coast has real pictures, he has invited me to see them and feature him in the magazine, I will leave in 1 week time, at the end of the school holidays, of course this means that you will have to come with me, is this okay, while we are there school will still be going on, so you will have to go to school in Australia, unfortunately there are no wizarding schools close by so you will go to a Muggle one instead.

The look of excitement had gone from Luna's face, replaced with one of utter surprise.
"I didn't expect that" she thought "but what an adventure it will be" she got up splashing milk and cereal over the people sitting beside her. "I must tell the others" she exclaimed to everyone as she skipped off.

Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny were chatting quietly as they munched on boiled eggs and bacon, the Griffindoor table was packed with people laughing and joking around; Fred and Gorge were surely plotting a new plan to annoy Snape, and Neville was late, as usual.
"Err hi Luna you look happy, did you see another Nargle?" said Harry nervously. Luna shook her head, her radish earrings swaying from side to side.
"No, I'm going to Australia in the holidays, I'm leaving as soon as school finishes."
"You're so lucky, I've always wanted to go there!" Hermione Moaned, "I hear wizard culture is totally different there."
"Well actually Hermione I will be going to a Muggle school, there are no wizarding schools in the area" Replied Luna.
"Oh, okay" said Hermione confused, "want me to give you any tips about Muggle schools?"
"No thanks, the Nargles told me everything"
Luna hurried off, out of the great hall and up a spiral staircase leading to Ravenclaw tower, she had a feeling that lessons would rush by today.
