Something small and fluffy and mushy for Valentine's Day... It's technically still today if I get in out by midnight, right?

Death Note belongs to Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

Misa was the good girl. Sure, she dressed in dark clothing, and she could kill with a flick of her wrist, but she had always been sunshine and smiles since the day she could talk. But today, today she felt uneasy nausea in the pit of her stomach. This felt wrong. This felt very, very wrong.

Light had come up with something to make her more useful. She could go to Ryuzaki, talk to him, and seduce him, to try and get his name. She had never led anyone on in her life, and preferred not to start now. But, she reasoned, it was for Light. Light was always right, right?

So, she walked uneasily into the living room where Ryuzaki, not surprisingly, was working on his laptop while eating strawberries. Misa walked almost silently, but flopped onto the couch, making Ryuzaki flinch and drop a few berries onto the carpet. He observed her with his large, raccoon-like eyes, looking blank but somewhat intruded.

"What is Misa-san doing here?" he asked.

Misa took a deep breath. This was it. She leaned in close, and as she did, Ryuzaki backed away just as quickly. "Misa thought Ryuzaki-san was getting lonely."

"Misa-san, I like to have a personal bubble." His normally calm facade gone, he looked quite uncomfortable.

She smiled, more of a smirk, and leaned in closer. Ryuzaki, restricted by the arm of the sofa, had no choice but to stay put. They were nose to nose. "Ryuzaki-san looks lonely. Maybe Ryuzaki-san would like to have a little fun?" She couldn't beleive what she was doing, what she was saying. This was ridiculous. But... Somehow, she was enjoying it.

Ryuzaki's face flushed dull pink. He tried to back away more, but it was impossible by now. "M-Misa-san...?"

"You work too much," she said, practically climbing on top of him. She raised her eyebrows, putting one hand around his neck. She was very much enjoying herself now. He did look cute, eyes wide and blushing. She had almost forgotten about Light...

Light.

Oh, crap.

"M-Misa-san, I don't think we should be-"

"You're right," she agreed, standing up. Ryuzaki sprang back into a normal (well, for him) sitting position. "Let's move into the bedroom."

Ryuzaki's whole face turned beet red at this. "W-what?"

Misa grabbed his wrists and yanked him up, pulling him across the room and up a staircase. She opened the door and flung him inside. He stumbled across the room and landed on the bed.

The whole scene seemed very surreal. Misa never thought she would do anything like this in a million years, on anyone's orders, and never did she think she would like it. But here she was. It was happening too fast.

She sat next to him, a hand on his thigh, staring into his face. Ryuzaki seemed too scared to move. "Ryuzaki-san, just relax."

His mouth opened, as if to say something, but he closed it almost immediately. Misa stared off into space for a few moments, then, quite suddenly, leaned in and kissed him.

He tasted weird, she thought, almost sugary. He gave a yelp of surprise, but did not move. Misa even thought she felt him kiss back for a few moments. Good, it was working.

She felt like a monster, leading him on like this. But she felt like Light was more so. But she could never say that to his face. She would be killed.

When they broke apart, Ryuzaki was red and looked very flustered. He stood and straightened his shirt a bit. He nodded at Misa, then walked out of the room.

Misa laughed. Well, perhaps she could accidentally-on-purpose fall for him, just a bit.
