Myths and legends

Molly Clarksen and Sandra Walker are talking in a bathroom at Rosewood High.

"I tell ya, it was real, girl. All of it." says Molly. "This was no dream. I felt the wind on my face and the wet grass under my feet."

"Dreams can feel realistic. My grandpa used to believe that he could transform his physical body into the form of a gray wolf in order to explore the spiritual realm, but that doesn't mean he grew thick fur all over his body and started to run around on all four." says Sandra.

"Please...I wasn't dreaming." says Molly.

"Not trying to be rude, but I don't think you were actually in the afterlife." says Sandra.

"Girl, you might be correct. It felt so dang real though." says Molly.

"Alright." says Sandra.

45 minutes later.

Molly read a very old thick book.

"Whatcha reading?" says Sandra.

"An old Bysantian religious book...'The Gospel of Khartu'. King Khartu of Nuderica goes to the Underworld to save his brother from eternal pain and when they return, Khartu has a scar on his left hand from a fight against a warrior in the Underworld, a proof that what he experienced was no dream. The same thing happened to me and the only reason Khartu was in the Underworld to begin with was to rescue his brother Khenti and bring him to the Havens." says Molly.

"I do very much believe you now." says Sandra.

"Thanks." says Molly.

"Not a problem, you're my best buddy." says Sandra.

"Wonderful. I need to go back." says Molly.

"Back?" says Sandra.

"Yes 'cause if what I saw was real, my mom's on her way to Hell and it's all my fault. I have to save her and bring her to the Havens, just like King Khartu did for his brother Khenti." says Molly.

"Holy shit...do you wanna simulate a near death thing to travel to Hell in order to save your mom?" says Sandra.

"Exactly." says Molly.

"That's a really serious idea." says Sandra.

"I know and I'm afraid, but I can't let mom go to Hell, especially since it's my fault." says Molly.

2 hours later.

Molly is on her bed, many candles buring around her.

"I'm ready..." says Molly.

"Good luck, girl." says Sandra.

Molly drink a glass of vodka, close her eyes and fall asleep.

When she open her eyes again, she stand outside the huge black iron gates of Hell. Two undead skeleteon guards dressed in red robes and armed with spears guard the gates.

She walk up to one of the two undead skeleton guards.

"Open and let me in." says Molly.

"You're not dead. This place was built by the dead and the dead keep it." says the guard in a deep emotionless cold tone.

"Fuck you!" says Molly as she grab the guard's spear and use it to cut off his head.

The other guard says "Gaernivus epoonia!" making the gates open.

Molly enter Hell.

20 minutes later, Molly finds her mom's soul who sit by a lake of fire, crying.

"Mom, I'm here to help you." says Molly.

"Damn it, Molly! You're the reason I am in Hell." says Amanda Clarksen.

"Forgive me, mommy!" says Molly.

"No. You brought dishonor upon me and now I have to suffer forever because of that." says Amanda.

"I can bring you to the Havens." says Molly.

"How?" says Amanda.

"By takin' your place here in Hell for all eternity." says Molly.

"Don't give your life for mine." says Amanda.

"I have to, mom." says Molly.

"Molly, are you going to claim your mother's suffering as your own without excuses or fucking crap?" says the Devil in a deep evil voice as he appear in a flash of fire.

"Yes, Mr Devil." says Molly.

"Deal." says the Devil.

The Devil and Molly shake hands.

Molly die.

"No!" scream Amanda.

"Your little daughter's made her choice. I release you to the Havens." says the Devil.

Amanda's soul fly up to the Havens.

Sandra cry when she understands that Molly is dead.

The End.
