He kissed her. He, Remus Lupin had kissed her, Nymphadora Tonks. And then he left her standing in the rain. A stray tear fell down her face and melted among the rain drop. She like always did not have a umbrella, so as she was standing there, she was getting soaking wet. After he had kissed her, he turned around; she could have sworn that a lone tear was streaking down his face. 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't be doing this to you' he mumbled to her before he apparated. He was probably going to Grimmauld, or his flat. As time went by, she knew that she should go to her flat. But at the present time, she did not want to waste her energy, even if she was dripping wet.

About an hour later, she looked at her watch. It was 11:11 p.m. When she was younger, she had always made a wish at this time. If she still did, she would wish that he would come back for her, that he wasn't poor, that she was older, and that he wasn't a werewolf. But after many years of waiting for her wishes to come true, she gave it up.
'Well, I better get going home, shouldn't I?' she thought. She looked around her surroundings trying to know where she was right now. When she was pretty sure that her flat was that way, she started walking in a daze. But it was only three steps, before she fell. She broke into a more violent, more audible sob from the ground. This was not the first time that Nymphadora Tonks, nor the last, that she had tripped, fallen and cried over or for Remus Lupin.
