Hello this is my first fanfic so please review and tell me what you think. I don't own Reba or any of the characters in the story.

Chapter 1

Rain. It splatterd hard against the windows of a small urban house. It was a storm like no other. The sound of lightning roared throughout the house. All of this was oblivious to 15 year old Greg Lawrence who was laying on his couch scrolling through a ipod. His parents had gone to Nebraska for the weekend to visit a friend who was going to have major heart surgery. He requested to stay home and have the place to himself. He planned to have people over but the bad weather had caused everyone to cancel on him, leaving him home all by himself. Sadly his ipod was broken so he borrowed his moms before she left. Unfortunately, his mom was a big fan of country music and she loves Reba so she has pretty much every song that she has ever released on her ipod. She also had all her music videos and tons of clips from various events. He wasn't a fan of country and was mortified to learn that his internet was down and he couldn't put any of his music on her ipod. He then decided since he couldn't listen to music, he better see if there was anything watchable on t.v. He got up and put the ipod in his pocket and went to turn the t.v. on. Once on he sighed when he found out the cable was also out. "Man I hate bad weather", he grumbled as he went to see what was on the DVR. He began to scroll down and thought, "What a surprise, the only shows she has are Reba, Dr. Phil and What Not to Wear". So, rather than sitting there and do nothing he decided that Reba would be better than nothing. He began to watch it for about ten minutes and started getting really into it. He had already watched about one and a half episodes when the t.v. turned off. He got up to turn it on and when he pressed the power button his whole body felt numb and everything started to become bright white. The last thing he rembered hearing was, "My roots are planted in the past". When he woke up, he found himself no longer in his house but in a very differnt but familiar living room.
