The Agreste Cat Café and Tailors opened after Marinette and Adrien had gotten married. Adrien had, of course, taken a liking to cats, so they opened up a cat café to continue the Dupain-Cheng recipes. Marinette had also taken a liking to tailoring, so she had a private studio in the back where she fit clothes to fit like a charm, her brows furrowing in concentration as she sewed, pinned, and laced.
And of course, Ayla had gotten a part time job there away from her photograph art, so Adrien and Marinette had rest assured that when they needed to save the day, Ayla could watch over the place, along with Nino if he got off early from his new video game design job.
Today, Adrien leaned against the counter, wiping his flour coated hands on his cat apron, watching the passerby people on the street. Today their daughter was turning sixteen, and their son had turned fourteen a month ago, and even though they didn't talk about it, Marinette and Adrien had the same idea. Marinette swept through the doorway, short navy hair tied back and expression nervous as well as excited.
She came over and bumped her hip against Adrien. "So, are you ready to retire, my kitty?"
Adrien nodded. "I will miss being Chat, but Plagg will still be around. Eating all the cheese as usual."
Marinette leaned up and pressed her lips against his.
Later on in the night, at dinner, the couple sat long and hard looking at their children, but eventually leaned down and handed the miraculous to their children.
They promised to cherish it and learn as much as they could- and of course to take full responsibility of Paris. But, their parents assured them if the children ever couldn't handle it, Marinette or Adrien could cover for them.
From then on, in the Agreste family it was a tradition. Each child who received the miraculous passed it on to their son or daughter when they turned sixteen. The family continued to save the world all throughout the years.
