One word…)
To find you,
A blessing...
To hold you,
A dream…
For you to be mine,
A hope…
Why is that 'one word' so hard to say?
I believed
No one could ever
Understand what it felt
To be hated, shunned, disgraced
Rejected,
Cursed,
(Until I met you…)
You reached out (to me…)
Your heart,
Your soul,
To me.
Me. The 'Monster'
The one who stole
Your happiness…
Why was that 'one word' so hard to say? (Because I didn't deserve it…)
With that…one word,
One emotion,
One feeling,
One truth,
One…word,
That even I (no matter how much I tried)
Couldn't deny…
(It was…love.
And I…love you.)
