Jessica Angell sat alone in her apartment fighting a bad cold. She felt that she wanted to be along, but deep down wishing she wasn't. When she heard a knock on the door, she slowly got up to answer the door. The knocking continued.

" Who's there?"

" Jess, it's me."

Jessica smiled, she knew it was Flack that was coming to see her. She opened the door and looked at him.

" What are you doing here Flack?"

" I'm here to take care of you."

Jess shook her head.

" I'm contagious here."

" Do you want to get rid of me Jess?"

Jessica smiled and shook her head.

" You haven't had a day off in so long Flack. I don't need you to get sick too."

" I'll chance it. There's nowhere else I'd rather be. I want to take care of you. May I come in or not?"

Jessica let him come in and she sat back down. Flack shut the door and sat down next to her.

" Is there anything I can get for you?"

" No. I'm fine for now."

Flack got back up and went to the kitchen. Jessica shook her head. In the years she's known Don Flack, it was hard to stop him when he put his mind to something. Jessica looked at him as he looked through the cupboards.

" What are you looking for?"

" I'm going to make you something to eat. You need to keep up your strength."

" I told you I'm fine. I can get it myself."

Jess tried to help him, but Don stopped her.

" No. I'll make you something."

" If you insist. I might be sick, but I'm capable of making a meal myself."

Flack smiled and shook his head.

" I care about you Jess, live with it. Now go lie down, get some sleep."

" I know you care about me, I care about you too. You shouldn't be here, but I'm glad you are."

Jessica then went to the bedroom to lie down. Flack continued what he was doing and it was about ten minutes later when he went to go check on her. Don looked at her and smiled for she was fast asleep. He covered her up and removed some hair that blocked her eyes.

" Sleep, it'll be good for you."

Don went out of the room to let Jess sleep. He sat on the sofa and shut his eyes. He didn't expect to fall asleep, but he did. Several hours later, Jess came out of the room to see Don asleep on the sofa. She smiled and went up to him.

" Looks like I'm not the only one who needed sleep."

Don then stirred and woke up to look at her.

" Jess, what are you doing up?"

" I'm hungry. What about you?"

" Starving actually. How do you feel?"

Jessica smiled.

" I feel so much better. I think knowing that you were here helped."

Don got up and went up to her.

" I could still be contagious."

" Like I told you, I'll take my chances. It's true that I haven't had a day off in months, but there's no other place I'd rather be, then here with you."

Jessica smiled, she was happy to hear that.
