It had been twenty years since Marty Coslaw, his sister Jane and his uncle Red defeated Reverend Lowe AKA the werewolf. It was 1996. Marty was now thirty-one years old and Jane was thirty-four. Marty was married with an eight year old daughter and was a very successful author. He wrote horror books about monsters. Marty and his wife had been married for ten years but theyd been together for seventeen years. They were high school sweethearts. Jane lived five minutes away from Marty. She worked out of her house as a phone sales representative. In her off time she took care of Marty and his wife. Marty was a paraplegic and his wife had cerebral palsy. She used a wheelchair to, unlike Marty she could feel her legs. Marty woke up to the sound of the alarm clock going off. He reached over to shut it off. He got in his manual push chair and wheeled himself into the handicap shower. When he was done he came down the stairs sitting on a chair that went up and down the stairs. His electric wheelchair was waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs. The gas powered wheelchairs were discontinued in the early 80's. Marty went into the kitchen. His wife Harper was at the stove cooking breakfast. Everything was handicap accessible.

"Morning." Marty said

"Morning honey." Harper said. Harper turned around. She had long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. "Want some pancakes?"

"Yeah."

"Morning daddy." Their daughter Kacey said.

"Morning Kacey." He said.

"What are we doing today?"

"Daddy has to get some work done today but maybe we'll go to the park later." "Aunt Jane's coming over today."

"When?" The front door opened.

"Hello." Jane said going in.

"Hi aunt Jane."

"Hi Kacey." She said coming into the kitchen. "Wanna help me get the laundry together?"

"Sure." "I'll go get the basket."

"Thanks." Kacey went to go get the basket. "Morning you two."

"Morning Jane."

"Uncle Red still coming down tomorrow?" Jane asked looking at Marty.

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna start cleaning." She went into the living room.

Harper brought Marty his pancakes.

"Thank you." He said.

"You're welcome." They kissed.

Later that day Harper, Kacey and Marty went to the park. After a few hours they went to a diner for lunch. On the way back to the table Harper dropped the napkins.

"Shit." She said. A young woman bent down to help her. "Thank you." Harper said looking at her. She looked to be in her early twenties.

"You're welcome."

Harper went back to the table.

"That lady must be new here I've never seen her before." Harper said.

Later that night Harper and Marty had just put Kacey to bed and were going to bed themselves.

"Tired?" Marty asked smiling at her.

"No."

"Come here." They kissed. "I love you."

"I love you too."

The moon was full.A homeless man was camping in the woods. A branch broke in the darkness.

"Hello." He said. A seconds later he heard a low growling noise. Suddenly he grabbed and killed by a figure in the darkness.
