I woke up at like 6am and I couldn't go back to sleep so I wrote a small one-shot :P

Chloe sat on her bed, tears pouring down her face. Beca had been gone for four months now for some business thing Chloe didn't care for. The fact that she was gone had really hit the redhead hard. Her heart ached; she missed the brunette so much. Texting and occasional phone calls weren't the same. It's been four months. Four months. That amount of time without Beca was slowly killing Chloe on the inside. The sobbing women looked over to the night table and picked up the framed picture of Beca and her at the park. The sight of Beca smiling made Chloe cry more, realizing she didn't know the next time she would see that beautiful smile. As the redhead sobbed she didn't her the front door, or the bedroom door for that matter, open.

"Oh my god, babe! Why are you crying?"

Chloe looked up confused, she was pretty positive she was alone. Through her tears she could see Beca put down her suitcases and walk towards the bed. Chloe jumped off the bed into Beca's arms.

"Chlo, what's wrong?" the brunette asked holding Chloe tight.

"I missed you... a lot," the redhead replied, tears still falling down her face.

After a minute or so Beca pulled away from the hug, wiping the excess tears off Chloe's face. She sat on the bed, sitting Chloe on her lap.

"Were you like this for four months?" Beca asked seriously.

"No, just today... I-I didn't know when you were getting back, that finally hit me. Why didn't you tell me you were coming back?"

"I wanted to surprise you," Beca started, "but it seems maybe calling would've been better," she chuckled, wrapping her arm around Chloe's waist.

Chloe wrapped her arms around Beca's neck. She missed being in her arms, she missed seeing her smile, she missed her scent, she missed everything. Chloe's thoughts were interrupted by Beca's lips softly making their way up her neck to her lips. The brunette pulled the older woman's head in to deepen the kiss. After a while Beca pulled away but kept her face within an inch of Chloe's.

"Kiss me again," the redhead whispered.

Beca didn't think twice, she placed her lips back on top of Chloe's. She missed the redhead so much it made her heart ache. Being alone in a hotel room at night wasn't the best thing. There were multiple nights where she's shed a few tears, longing the redheads embrace. Chloe pulled away and smiled.

"I love you so much, please remember that," Beca smiled.

"I will, I love you too."

Beca laid back onto the bed and pulled Chloe off her lap, placing her next to her. The redhead seemed worn out and Beca was tired from traveling. The one thing they could do now was cuddle, and if they fell asleep then so be it. Chloe fell asleep wrapped in Beca's arms, the brunette running her finger over the piece of skin showing from under her shirt. Beca put her arm all the way around Chloe's small waist and fell asleep next to her, having the perfect sense of home.
