A/N: Just a fun little sketch of my favorite Red Lion pilot.

Lance skulked down the street, hands deep in his pockets, collar of his leather jacket turned up. The people he passed gave him a wide berth, muttering to each other as he walked by. Lance didn't care; he had a purpose. One hand came out of a pocket and raked his long auburn hair back. That's right, he thought grimly as a cop gave him the once over. I'm the bad boy next door, the one you were warned about. Idiots. He checked the knife in his pocket, and the gun beneath his jacket. It promised to be a busy night, and he wanted to be prepared for anything. As he strode down the street, a mother pulled her little girl to the side, eyeing him suspiciously. Lance glowered at her. Like I'm gonna hurt a kid. Please. I have standards.

"Looks like he belongs to one of those gangs," Lance heard one old man whisper to another, and he grinned wickedly. Baddest gang you ever saw, old man. You have no IDEA how damned bad. He picked up his pace; last thing he wanted was to be late. Quickly he made his first two collections; his name and reputation ensured that there was no difficulty in getting what he wanted. Three more collections, and he was ready to meet the rest of the gang.

Keith looked up as he slipped into the hangar. "Get everything?"

"Yup." Lance unzipped his jacket to reveal his Garrison cadet uniform. "Should've been with me; should've seen the looks I got." He laughed. "A cadet can't even go out and get a little food for a spaceflight without getting dirty looks anymore."

"Well, you're the one who always has to look like a bad boy," Keith pointed out with a grin. He took the fast food bags from Lance and distributed them to Hunk, Pidge, and Sven. "Besides, I think you enjoy those looks."

"Of course I do; why do you think I went out of uniform?" Lance sat down with his own dinner. "Guy's gotta keep his reputation up, Kogane." He grinned. "Besides, it's fun."

Keith chuckled. "Lance McClain, number one bad boy of Garrison Flight Academy."

"Damned straight," Lance laughed, and they all turned to their meals. They were set to leave for Arus early in the morning, and had a lot of work to do that night.
