Mark's Scrub Cap
Have you ever notice Mark doesn't own a scrub cap. Wonder why? I do and so does Lexie. So this is little shot of way and Lexie giving him one.
One Shot
"I'm just wondering why?" asks Lexie
"I don't know why," says Mark
"I mean Derek has one, Arizona, Teddy, Callie, Addison, Owen, Bailey and the chief," says Lexie
"Maybe I want to be different why do you care anyway?" asks Mark
"I was just wondering," says Lexie
"Please don't say you got me one," says Mark
"No," lies Lexie
"Lex I know when you're lying," says Mark
"Fine yes but I think you'll like it," says Lexie pulling out a black swab of material out of her pocket.
Mark unfolds to find a scrub cap and realizes it is all black but with the New York Yankees logo.
Mark looks at it and looks at Lexie and then his pager goes off.
"I've got a surgery now that I am obviously late for you coming to watch?" asks Mark
"You wearing the scrub cap?" asks Lexie
"You'll just have to see," grins Mark
"Then me and my post op's will be there," says Lexie
"Who gave you post op's?" asks Mark as they walked towards OR3.
"Oh I'm on OB service this week and I'm on post op care," says Lexie
"Were you in the surgery?" asks Mark
"I was watching in the OR but I didn't get to assist but I don't care because I don't want to work in OB," says Lexie
"And were do you want to work?" asks Mark
"Oh you'll just have to find out," grins Lexie "Good luck," she adds giving him a kiss
Mark laughs and turns entering the scrub room tying the new scrub cap on his head.
"Nice cap," says Derek
"Thanks," replies Mark starting to scrub in
"Always wondered when you were going to get your own why did you?" asks Derek
"Oh someone else wondered that too and got me one," says Mark
"Lexie," says Derek
Mark nods a grin on his face.
"Dude you are so whipped," laughs Derek
"Yes and you know what I don't care because I'm happy and your were this whipped when you married Meredith," says Mark
Laughing the pair go into the OR to begin their surgery.

"You got him the cap?" asks Meredith
"Yeah I wondered why he didn't have one," says Lexie
"And why didn't he?" asks Meredith
"You know we never really got the bottom of it," says Lexie
And the pair turn to observe the surgery.
