The sunset shone through the drapes of the room, it was early morning. The sound of the chirping birds was the only sound heard and it was beautiful. Though what made it an even more beautiful morning was Jack waking up with Carter in his arms. Peaceful, sureal... beautiful. Jack lay there slowly making patterns on Carter's bare shoulders with his eye's locked on the sleeping astrophyscist. She sighed calmly before opening her eyes.
"Good morning" Jack smiled, he couldn't see her face but just knew she awoke.
She raised her head to look up to Jack smiling, bright blue met chocolate brown.
"It is a good morning" She gave Jack a small kiss on the lips and moved to a position she could see his face comfortably.
"I've got some news"
"What kind of news?" Wondering if she really wanted to hear this so early in the morning.
"Well I was going to tell you last night but we got a little distracted" Jack's cheekiness came through.
"Yes" Carter smiled as she remembered the previous night. "So what is it?"
"They accepted my recommendation for the name of the new moon base"
"They did?" Carter couldn't hide her suprisement.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well you wanted to name the X-302, The Enterprise Jack"
"That was a cool name! I still don't get why they said no"
Carter chuckled into his chest. "So what is it?"
"What's what?"
"The name?"
"Ah well it's being named BMC for short"
"BMC? What does it stand for?"
"Blue Moon Carter" Jack said with a big smile covering his face.
Carter's smile grew to the size of Jack's, suprisement on her face. "Really?"
"Ya bet'cha! Why what did you think I'd call it?"
"Well I did have the feeling it would have something to do with The Simpsons"
"Yes, well, I love you more than The Simpsons... a little more" Jack teased.
Carter kisses him lovingly the smiles on their faces still their. As she pulled away she lingered near his lips. "Thankyou Jack" She said softly.
"You're very welcome Samantha" Jack mimicked Sam's tone and kissed her back, the smiles not being able to be contained.
It was a beautiful, very beautiful morning.
