It's as simple as that.

That.

"Yes, may I help you?" there is a fat lady with small eyes peering down at me. Her blinding white nametag reads Kelly. I think, no. You can't help me because I am going to help myself, thank you very much.

"Well, you could help me." I say aloud, leaning on the smooth marble desk. "But then again, would anyone really, really want to help…me?" I grin at her, my eyes flashing in the dimly lit office.

The lady is scared. Her thin mouth is hanging open at the absurdity of my reply, and her eyes unusually wide.

Unusually.

"Um. Go right in. Third door, left." She says, her small eyes fixed on the computer screen. There is a small lapse of silence.

Click, click, click. I see a door. 142.

Whoosh. There is white. White, everywhere. I hear faint beeping noises.

"Lilly." I say to the room, letting it hang there.

I quickly step into the white.

A table. White lumps emitting erratic beeps. A bed. A strand of blonde, blonde hair.

Erratic.

"Lilly." I say louder, watching as it hangs in the air, quivering.

Movement. Dark eyes stare at me. Blonde hair. Fragile.

No, not fragile. Lilly's going to be alright. She just needs air.

I'm serious, Lilly will be okay. Don't give me that look. I'm not crying, she will be okay.

Shhh. Lilly doesn't want to see us crying like this.

This.

Her mouth forms an 'O' shape, and she smiles, shadows settling on her face.

Click, click, click, click, click, click. I see Lilly up close now.

She holds up both pale, pale arms.

Both.

I lean down and hug her gently. Oh so gently. She sighs and breathes me in.

I feel her playing with my hair. Soft, quiet fingers barely stroke my hair.

"I missed you." She whispers into my ear.

"I…I would have visited you earlier, Lilly. But…but, I…" I feel out of place. My knees hit the hard, cold floor and I feel it seep through me.

"I love you."

I stay still. The words dance in the air, landing on me.

Dance.

It's a butterfly moment. I watch as the words land on me, and stay, color glowing around me.

"Lilly. But. I…" I feel my words drop onto her. A black spot.

"Miley." She says simply.

Dark eyes, searing glare, tired.

Black spot.

"Lilly, you know that I love Miley." Another black spot.

A simple gaze.

"She doesn't."

"What?"

Glares.

Black.

"She…" Lilly takes a deep breath. "…doesn't love you."

Black.

"Miley loves me. Lilly, you have to face it sometime." I spat out.

Horror. Words fall on her, and black spots appear everywhere.

Red. Why is there red? Why is Lilly lying there? Why are her eyes blank? What is that sticking in her chest?

Beep. Beep. Beep beep beep beep beep.

"Lilly?" the word hangs.

"Lilly? Answer me. Please."

Red is spreading everywhere. Beeps are appearing faster and faster.

"LILLY." I scream aloud.

Scream.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

"I love you." The words are still on me, glowing brightly.

Me.

Nothing,

Black is all I see, except for the glowing words.

"Lilly?" I see the words quiver frantically.

"O-Oliver."

A small white dot appears.

"Lilly?"

Silence.

Black surroundings.

Glowing color.

"I love you."

Yeppers. Its okay if you don't get this at all.
