Ciel sighed as he was driving home in his 1985 Lincoln Town car home. He and Sebastian had been living in the United States since the 1940's and even now in 1995, Ciel would never be used to the things people in this country wasted their time being concerned with. He was frustrated as he for some reason listened to another talk show discussing the OJ trial. He really hated how everyone was screaming racism about the whole thing. Two people were dead, shouldn't finding the killer be more important than the color of the killer's skin? Ciel angrily sighed thinking to himself that if he was still in a position of authority he could've brought down the killer in no time and not have had all this insanity along the way.
Ciel changed the station angrily and stopped as his ears found "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne. He stopped and started listening to it. Even though Ciel's favorite music would always be the classical music he had listened to in his youth as a human, he really did enjoy 1980's American music, this song being one of his favorites. However, at this moment it made him a little sad as well as happy. The short twenty year old looking demon was on his way home from a day of reading at the library and going to the park and grocery store. He had watched specifically at the park as a woman and her son played together and felt jealousy.
Ciel Michaelis was having the worst case of baby fever he had ever known. He knew obviously that his and Sebastian's daughter Francine would always be their daughter, but Francine had great great great grandchildren by now! Ciel wanted to have a baby. He wanted to feel like a mother again, to care and adore for an infant with Sebastian's beautiful eyes and maybe Ciel's blue soft locks. Or maybe a baby with his blue eyes and Sebastian's raven hair? The man sighed as he made a left turn only five minutes from home now.
Ciel and Sebastian a long time before had always said when Francine was first born that they'd never need more kids. They had said that they didn't need any more other than Francine, that she was their perfect little princess. That was still half true, Ciel adored his daughter, but he hadn't seen her in a while since she was still living in London, and Ciel did need another child. As the boy pulled into the driveway of his and Sebastian's simple one story home, he parked his car as "American Girl" by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers began to play on the radio.
As the blue haired boy entered the house he smelled homemade pizza. Sebastian always made the best pizzas! He walked into the kitchen to see the taller demon in some blue jeans and a black button down shirt with his sleeves rolled up and was barefoot as he cooked and sang along to "Imagine" by John Lennon on the portable radio on their counter. Ciel smiled at the sight before him. He wondered to himself as he looked at the ring on his left hand exactly how he got so lucky again before walking to behind his husband, hugging the taller man from behind and kissing his back.
"Look whose home from his busy day having me time. Did you have a good time today, my young wife?" Sebastian said turning around pecking Ciel on the lips.
"Wouldn't it be husband, actually? This is the twentieth century, after all, Sebastian." He pointed out. Sebastian chuckled.
"I like calling you my wife, though. Also, it is a rather bad habit, my love. Would you like some pizza?" He smiled and Ciel nodded smiling back standing on his tip toes to kiss his husband. The two were just as in love as when they were newlyweds, and for that they were grateful. As they got out their plates they each had two pieces of three meat pizza, which was both of their favorites. They knew they didn't actually need to eat, but even they managed to enjoy the recreational activity of eating pizza. As the radio started playing "Hotel California" the two stood close to one another and ate.
"So how was your day?" Sebastian said speaking between his bites.
"Well, first I went to the library on Park Road and picked up a copy of that book Wicked by Gregory something or other. The story about the Wicked Witch?" Ciel answered also between bites.
"Oh right, I do recall you talking about that. What next?"
"I went to the grocery store and picked up some things that we needed like toilet paper and some other small things that didn't need to be refrigerated. I also bought today's paper and went to the park to read it."
"Anything interesting in the paper?"
"Ugh, god no. Just yet another person's opinion about O.J. Simpson. I swear if I so much as hear the words trial or verdict again I will rip my own hair out." He responded rolling his eyes.
"I agree with you. I'm glad you had a good day, today was lovely for seeing the leaves in the park." Sebastian pointed out. Ciel nodded.
"October is always wonderful, here. The colors were very vibrant. I also saw this adorable little boy there today with his mother, she was teaching him how to swing by himself on the swing set and the kid was trying with all of his might and it was just adorable." Ciel's smile widened as he was speaking of the child he saw at the park. Sebastian chuckled a little.
"I suppose now you want your own little boy to see struggle against the almighty park swing?" The raven haired man joked.
"Well, since you mentioned it…" That got the other's attention as Ciel bit his bottom lip wondering what his husband would respond.
"Wait a second. Ciel… do you want to have another child?" Sebastian set his plate on the counter before turning back to his love.
"Sebastian… We've spent many years doing things, claiming multiple identities and earning degrees in various things. We've experienced so many things and have had such wonderful adventured… being a mother has been my favorite. Francine is a grown woman, more than that she has decedents going to a fourth generation after herself. I miss raising a child… I see these Mums with their babies often, and mine is an adult living on the other side of the world probably dealing with her own empty nest syndrome. So yes… I want to have a child. What do you think about it?" Ciel explained calmly and unapologetically. Sebastian thought it over before smiling a little and leaning down to kiss his lord.
"If you want a baby that badly, what kind of husband would I be to deny you such joy? After all, we already know how to be great parents."
"Exactly! We can have a little girl or boy to adore us and we can shape them into a-mmm!" The boy was cut off by Sebastian picking him up bridal style beginning to walk them to their room. The blue haired boy pulled away giggling.
"What are you up to now, you crazy butler?" The younger demon giggled feeling his ear be playfully nipped and pulled at by the elder's perfect teeth.
"Giving you a baby, my love." He purred. The younger's face flushed scarlet.
"Well, I didn't mean right this very second! We can wait until later, if you want!" He laughed as Sebastian plopped him onto their bed and climbed over them.
"Trust me… I have no reason to wait until later. I love you, Ciel." He said as he rested his forehead against the younger demon's forehead below him.
"I love you, too, Sebastian." With that, the two locked lips and removed their clothing and made love repetitively almost all night as Ciel could hear "I Want to Know What Love Is" playing from the radio in the kitchen. Much to Ciel's joy, the joyous work paid off since he did indeed become pregnant with Sebastian's child again. Ciel had no problem as he called Francine and Alois in London telling them of his good news, very delighted.
He became even more delighted when he found out he'd actually be having twin boys to raise together. Alois had made sure to make Ciel return to London for a vacation to throw him a surprise baby shower to make sure he had all the supplies he'd need, now that the world was different than what it had been in the Victorian Era. Francine was more than thrilled as well at the idea of being a big sister. Sebastian also had quite a lot of joy and excitement at being a father again. They had never raised a boy, let alone two, so they had quite fun imagining what it would be like and what the boys would be like and the kind of people they'd be one day. Ciel had never known such excitement and joy since his last pregnancy almost a century before. Sebastian and Ciel had quite a few escapades to fulfil the pregnant man's requests for midnight cravings, and every mood swing. Sebastian had been a real trooper through everything and they both believed it was worth it, ready for their new children to enter the world.
The following July 8th in 1996, Ciel had a home cesarean section where he delivered two healthy and beautiful fraternal twin baby boys. One had black hair with a very discreet touch of blue when the lighting was right and gorgeous navy blue eyes, he had Sebastian's skin tone, facial structure, and strong gaze. The other was every bit his mother's child, A perfect replica of Ciel with red eyes. They named the first twin with the darker hair Lucifer Vincent Michaelis and the other one with the blue hair Malcolm Frederick Michaelis. Lucifer, who everyone called Luke, had his father's personality for sure even though he did have some traits that without a doubt come from his mother, such as his sense of honor and duty. The other, Malcolm, was every bit as strong willed and independent as his mother except he had quite the wild streak and lack of any kind of shame for who he is. The two boys grew up as best friends and one day, it was time for Luke to find his own master to serve.
