A Demon's Gift

Author's note-This is what happens when I get it into my head to write a gift. Also, I know Tsung is probably ooc but I took the

idea and ran with it. Tsung and the dragon symbol don't belong to me and I'm glad cause I don't want them. However, the brain crack is all mine. That said,

Enjoy.

Robin was lying on her back, reading her Mortal Kombat movie book while contemplating her life. Her major was exactly what she loved and she had friends so everything was going fine.

Except, why did she have this feeling that she was being watched. Rolling over to her side and furtively glance around her room, her eyes taking in her blue nightstand that was overflowing with papers as well as all of the bins and boxes that had yet to be unpacked.

Seeing that everything as it should be, she stood up only to get the prickling feeling on the back of her neck.

"You need to either have a maid or else you need to clean up, Robin. I have seen cleaner crypts than this room". Sliding from the shadows, what looked to have a sinister beauty and caused Robin to take in a deep breath and cringe in fear.

"Uh, hi…err...the thing about the Changes story is entirely Bri's idea. I swear that I am just an innocent bystander. Honestly! And besides, I'm going to go back to school and and my room is small. Drat, I'm babbling, aren't I?"

Tsung just shook his head. "Indeed you are but I haven't come to talk to you about the disordered state of your room. I've brought you, a gift. "

"So…your not about to steal my soul?" Robin stopped cringing and relaxed slightly. "Wow, if you come bearing a gift, you can't be all bad."

"Are all you mortals so single minded? Or am I just attracting that type of following? Ah, well at least, you're amusing for me."

Robin huffed and started to pace while grumbling under her breath, "As if you wouldn't know!" Stopping for a moment, Robin glared at the demon. "You were a mortal as well-you just ended up becoming a demon! And then you ended up getting a cool duster..." Suddenly Robin clapped her hands and perked up. "Is that what you brought me?"

Tsung's eyes burned into her before he smirked. "The only way another person could get my clothes is to pry them off my cold, dead body. No, it's something better than my clothes. You'll thank me later for this."

Holding her eyes with his own, she never noticed him approaching her with a calculating expression. When he was standing in front of her, he took her hand into his and then made what felt like a cold, metallic round object.

"Enjoy this but keep in mind, who gave it to you." With that he simply vanished.

Trembling in some unknown emotion, Robin slowly opened her fist, to see lying in the flat of her hand, the Mortal Kombat symbol of a dragon. "Well, I'd say this is the most confusing gift I've ever received."
