This is a short poem written to be Padme's last thoughts at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Padme belongs to George Lucas, as with Star Wars.

As I Lay Dying

As I lay dying, I think of you,

And think of our memories on Naboo.

Those days seem so long ago now,

But here I take my final bow.

As I lay dying, I see your face,

My mind has always been its place.

Deep down I know your heart is true,

My love, I do forgive you.

As I lay dying, I see the hope,

And I wonder how they'll cope.

I know the galaxy's in good hands,

As someday justice will find the lands.
