Merlin and Mordred sat cross legged on the floor involved in a magic game of noughts and crosses. Mordred saw Arthur and quickly scooped up the pieces and put down a gold coin. "What are you two doing," Arthur asked staring down at them.
"Want to play a game Emrys?" Mordred asked Merlin in his head.
"Sure," He replied back in his head. "Oh hi Sire, Gaius was teaching me a concentration game and I was showing Mordred here."Merlin explained to Arthur
Mordred looked at Arthur innocently.
"So what do you do..?" Arthur asked.
"If you concentrate hard enough you can MOVE this coin with your mind." Merlin explained.
"Mordred and I have both mastered this."
"I'ts a simple game," smiled Mordred.
"You Merlin, Show me then," said Arthur.
"Ok," Merlin bent his head his eyes flashed gold and the coin moved. Arthur gasped.
"I can do much better Merlin," Mordred boasted sure enough he bent his eyes flashed and the coin moved. Mordred smiled.
"I'll try," Arthur reached for the coin. He put it on the floor and looked at it. "I can't move it," he complained like a stroppy two year old. "Concentrate Sire," Merlin said.
"I am, why can't I do it," he whined.
"Some people just don't understand," Merlin said shaking his head sadly.
"Urrgh." Arthur stormed off.
"Give me five," Mordred asked. They slapped hands together.
"See you," Merlin said walking away smiling.
