Bella doesn't get to the Volturi in time, and Edward is killed. But what if vampires really don't technically die? What happens to Edward once the Volturi apperently kill him? Read inside for full summary.

What does happen to Vampires after they're killed? That's what I'd like to write about. Here's a little overview of the summary for my potential story.

Bella doesn't get to Edward in time and the Volturi kill him. Although, based on Edward's theory, vampires don't actually die. His physical presence is lost, but not his essence. He suddenly finds himself in the form of a new human, with no memory of the past.

After the Volturi kill Edward, they change Bella against her will. Bella then has to face life as an immortal without Edward.

When fate overpowers all, The Cullens develop an inexplicable interest in one of Carlisle's patients who seems to subconsciously know everything about them.

So, would this make a good story? Please comment in a review.
