Promises
This is an InuYasha yaoi, maybe, depends on how the first chappie goes. When InuYasha learns that there is a cure for Miroku's wind tunnel without killing Naraku, he doesn't hesitate to try and find it.
I don't InuYasha, if I did InuYasha and Sesshoumaru (?) wouldn't be brothers and they would be a couple in the show.

The group was slaying there regular demon that goes after them for the jewel shards, when Miroku was a about to use his wind tunnel on him he stooped Miroku.
"Monk cease and I shall tell you a cure for your curse." he pleaded for his life.
"Why should I believe you, wretch" He bitterly spat.
"I don't know how, but I know that he' telling the truth." Inu plainly stated.
"Sango held her boomerang menacingly above the demon, "Tell us!"
He handed Inu a piece of scroll, "Only you can read this."
"Its demon writing" Inu explained, after quickly glancing at it.
He read in his mind, getting the translations to basic gist of it,
'The curse of the many creature demon, with a human heart, can only be broken by a Demon of both hearts, and truly loves the one of the afflicted curse. It is a trial for the half one, only he can partake in it.
Take the red fang to the mountain of sun. And locate the giant's sutra'
"I have to go, and go by myself. Only half-breeds can go, I have to break a barrier in the mountain of the sun." He looked at them leaving the key to the whole thing out, it had to be someone who truly loved Miroku, "In the mountain I can only survive there because of my demon blood, and the robe of the fire rat will protect me."
"Don't risk your life on my account" Miroku looked at Inu, he thought, 'god why does he have to be so commanding, he could command me quite... bad Miroku! Bad, naughty miroku, must not think bad things!'
"Don't be stupid, if I do this then you owe me," Inu looked at him a fierce look to anyone but Inu, who looking at the staff wielding monk, "now I can hold this over your head, that's all"
And with that Inu turned, and sped off to the sun mountain.
