Flitting undetected behind the two, she let her mind wander. The first thought that came to it, as was a recent trend of her brain's, was about him. Lately, she had been questioning herself in that matter; why was she so focused on him?

To an extent it was necessary to think of him, of course; she rather did have a purpose in following him, after all. Still, she hadn't been so tuned into his every movement, his personality, or even the angular shape to his golden eyes before.

Now, it seemed that everything she thought about had to do with him. She mostly passed it off as a side-effect of her mission, but she was tired of lying to herself. Still unprepared to face the truth, she merely ignored this problem she had about thinking of him altogether.

Instead, she focused on his flowing, silver hair. It was a wonder that it stayed so soft, considering the disrespect and negligence with which he treated himself and, generally, everything.

His uncaring demeanor only showed flaws in its surface when he was angered- he accepted this about himself because he thought being angry would make him seem less concerned about anything, but his anger only proved that he had opinions, and he only bothered to form an opinion on what he felt affected him.

She had seen right through this disguise of his after following him for a few days. In fact, lately, she saw through a lot of him. That was the funny thing about this relationship; she knew him better than that GIRL did by far, yet he didn't yet know that she existed- yet.

She was prepared to make that clear. The time would soon prove right, and she could finally get away from that stupid GIRL who was always following him around. However, thinking about what she would do afterward left a huge void in her. She wasn't sure why, but she sure as hell wasn't prepared to reach any solutions that day, nor was she prepared to keep lying to herself; instead, she shoved it to the back of her mind and returned her thoughts, a task as easy as pressing a "reset" button, to him.

(A/N): Another unfinished. Still, I do have a whole bunch written; it just isn't typed up yet. Besides, why would you buy the cow if you can get the milk for free? It's healthy for you to wait on it. Maybe in the meantime you'll go outside, play some baseball, get a job, DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE…. ^^
