"But I love snow white!"
"We always watch it."
"But I love it…"
"As much as me?"
The curly haired teen raised an eyebrow. "Depends." Kurt sat up and crossed his legs, smiling slightly. "On what?" Disney nights always started like this, with Blaine begging for Snow White, Kurt twisting it in his favour, and they almost always ended up with Tangled on the screen. "On whether we can watch Snow White." But it was always small moments like this that they treasured, that would look back on and laugh. But at that moment, all Blaine wanted was his Seven Dwarves. He grinned at his boyfriend and began to sing quietly.
I'd like to dance and tap my feet
But they won't keep in rhythm
You see, I washed them both today
And I can't do nothing with 'em
Kurt chuckled in surprise and joined in.
Ho hum the tune is dumb
The words don't mean a thing
Isn't this a silly song
For anyone to sing?
Moments like these were locked away in their hearts, kept forever and cherished. Although just then it seemed as silly as the song they were singing, and as silly as the lives they were living. Incomparable to the love they were feeling. They joined in the last verse just as Kurt slipped Tangled into the DVD player.
I chased a polecat up a tree
Way out on upon a limb
And when he got the best of me
I got the worst of him
"So maybe I love you more than Snow White."
"Good. I always win."
"Wha-"
Kurt grinned as Blaine looked over at the Tangled menu screen.
"How did you-?"
"Yeah, I love you too."
