ED & JERRY
"Weird" Ed Edison had an insane passion about rodents… Since he was a child he'd developed a very disturbing affection over a certain famous cartoon icon.
He would always sit in his sofa, face glued on the TV, watching his favorite mouse tricking that idiotic tomcat over and over… He loved that show, just like any other kid would.
As his nickname suggested… Ed Edison was not a normal person… Or should I say, was not normal for the current standards of normality… Which aren't flawless.
He was a nutcase, none the less… Just like he's definitely not normal family.
He's father, Dr Fred Edison, was the average mad doctor who's goal was to take over the world with an army of sentient tentacle mutants…
His mother, Edna, was a gruesome looking nymphomaniac would be nurse with an obsession over pointed and sharp items… Like knives.
The family's "pets"… Green and Purple. The two living tentacle creatures. His father's creations and supposed to be obedient slaves... Unfortunately for him, they had a strong syndicate.
And then… There was good old cousin Ted… Also known as "Dead" Ted, for his peculiar ability of being dead for at least 200 years… They're still waiting for him to awake.
In the unique and quite sociopath environment he grew in… The feeling of being, let's say, different… Would have been a burden for anybody.
"Weird" Ed had no friends whatsoever… Well, to tell the truth… Ed had a friend. Or better, he had a pet animal. A cute, fat looking hamster he called after his hero…
Jerry.
It was supposed to be his 18th birthday gift from his father… Unfortunately, the little rodent was NOT like the famous mouse he learned to love.
It was just a lazy, useless, real life hamster… He hated it. He hated this little rat with all his might. It was nothing like the smart, cool and cute little mouse it was supposed to resemble…
That is why, one day, he did what he did…
He put the hamster inside the microwave, turned it on and watched its body explode in a delightful gory fashion while hearing the machine's ding… Then he feed his family's beloved mutated carnivore plant with its roasted, bloodstained corpse.
On that night, "Weird" Ed had a nightmare… He was a tomcat who had to catch a certain mouse for some reason… Unfortunately for him, the mouse was smarter… And slaughtered the cat with a chainsaw.
A very baffling dream, indeed.
When he awoke… He found a very familiar chainsaw stuck into his torso. He died painfully a second after…
Not wanting to deal with the authorities, his family decided to dispose of the body in the only way they knew… They slashed it in tiny pieces, cooked them inside the microwave and feed their beloved carnivore plant with them.
As a further note, his murderer was never found…
But cousin Ted managed to wake up after his 200 years sleep… Apparently, he wanted some cheese.
And that's that.
