SuperduperImportant AN: This is not abandoned. I merely got caught up in real life and lost inspiration. Chapter one will be uploaded after I'm done with polishing it up and convincing my family I'm not a crazy hermit just because I practically live in my room.
As a bonus for being so patient, I've added a teaser to the bottom of this page for the next chapter. This has also been polished up, made pretty, and made a bit longer/detailed so it is recommended you reread it.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, Not even the lint in my pocket. The dryer made that and threatened to sue if I took credit for its labor.
Warnings: Yaoi in later chapters, the chapter where it starts to be unavoidably so will have a warning at the beginning specifically warning so (If there is a sexual scene, I will have a large warning that you cannot miss, perhaps a row of this "YAOIYaoiYaoiYAOI" at the beginning and something to indicate it's end?)
A/N: The Prologue and Chapter One are beforetime is skipped and then the rest is after. :)
Prologue: Myself from harm
Dean woke with a soft groan. "Nnn..." he murmured, eyes fluttering open to see a bright white ceiling. He closed his eyes again, laughing softly. He'd really made it? Dean Winchester, -swearing, gambling, cheating, lying, man-whore Dean Winchester- had made it into heaven? 'Huh. Looks like Heaven qualifications allow for the occasional manslaughter. Killing undead assholes and Demons probably don't count though' he mused to himself, although relief shone on his features,
"Hello, Dean Winchester." A soft voice said, tinkling like bells. Bells? Heaven's Bells? Had to be. Hell's bells wouldn't be so pretty, right? Or was his brain just playing tricks on him again? "It's nice to see you Dean." The voice continued. "Although, it wasn't that I couldn't see you before…" the words trailed off there.
"What the hell is that supposed to-"He sat up, groaning in pain as he held his side. That fucking hurt.
"Yeah... I ah.." the voice laughed softly. "I don't think that's really good idea. Dying really tends to leave you a little bit of aches and pains.. And what I mean is that you were, well, unconscious sweetheart, so you couldn't see me. I was waiting, though."
"...Really now? Hadn't noticed." he murmured, cracking his neck. "Do you know how creepy it is you were watching me sleep?" He asked as he cracked an eye open to attempt to look around and see where he was. This place didn't feel right, and it was too cold. Heaven wouldn't feel cold, right? Shouldn't it feel perfect? He was startled by what he saw, or, rather who. Being sent to strange places really didn't surprise him anymore, after all. "...Oh, it's you. What the hell are you doing here? I thought I went with you and I got the pearly white gates and that kind of shit."
Her eyes sparkled. "Did I say that? Bad Tessa!" She scolded herself teasingly. "Ah... oops, I'm afraid you misunderstood me. See, when you asked where you were going, did I ever tell you?" A teasing smirk touched her face, marring her features into something that just made Dean want to hit the bitch. She wasn't really a woman, he reasoned, before he shook it off. She wasn't, but she wasn't a demon either.
Worse than the anger, though, was pit in his stomach when he realized that she... she hadn't. "….I suppose not.." Dean said slowly, a coldness settling in his gut. That was never good.
The reaper grinned lightly. "So nope, no heaven; Sorry, Deanie!" She said, actually seeming a tad apologetic towards the end.
The bad feeling Dean had? Fuck 'bad', that pretty girl he banged in high school that was into gymnastics was getting her revenge with her flips and shit in his stomach. Damn, he should've called her in the morning, 'cause this so wasn't worth the fuck-and-run. "Really? Damn, crush my beliefs why don't you?"
"So mouthy…" She scolded lightly, although she shrugged, clearly unbothered despite her words. "No need to get defensive though, Dean. You're among friends after all!"
"Somehow I think friends of yours aren't necessarily friends of mine." He said dryly, rolling his eyes. He so didn't have time for this bullshit. Either he needed to go to 'Pearly White Gate' time, or to Go back down to earth so he could check on Dad and protect his Sammy.
"Mmm, you're probably right. They'll grow on you, though." she said; voice oddly chipper, and a tad mocking. Dean clearly wouldn't be getting anything out of her anytime soon. He decided to move on with his questions.
"...Fine, bitch. Where am I?"
"Find out for yourself" she hummed, unbothered by the rude name.
"..." he swallowed his anger. Information was more important than telling this bitch where she could shove her bull. Dean asked the most important question of all to him right now. "What am I?" he asked quietly, nervous and, although he would not admit it under the pain of torture, scared. If he wasn't in heaven, and he doubted he was in hell, than why not? And What was he, because when he heard himself speak, it sounded odd, not human, even though it was subtle.
Her smile faltered slightly at the fright filled question disguised badly as insolence. "I thought I told you, silly boy, I can't give away the big punch-line. Let's go explore, I'll show you around and tell you later." she said, smiling and walking away, locking the door behind her.
A/N: Where is Dean? Has he been captured? Did she lie? Is he in hell after all? is he a- *muffles self* I should shut up now and stop spouting randomness. Tell me what you think? All shall be revealed later. Until then, SUFFER. MUAHAHA!
Also, *hints softly* updates would come quicker if I had someone to scan over my work for imperfections for me and someone I could bounce my Ideas off of. Beta, Anyone? I had one a while ago, but we lost touch…

HAH! You thought I forgot, did you? Nope. As promised, here is a teaser for the next chapter!
"'Alright, Dean. As promised, now I'll tell you what you are; although, for the record, I find 'What' rather offensive even though it is technically true from a human standpoint, but you aren't human anymore so you should know better and-'
'Just get on with it.' Dean urged her. He had waited long enough.
'Well…. The thing is, you won't like it…' She warned.
'Well, the thing is, I don't give half of a fuck.'"
