One glimpse of her

ignites his stone, cold eyes.

The heat of her body

melts the frozen parts of his heart.

He walks through flames

just to feel her warmth.

She was fire. Her heart burned strong and true. Fire stood for passion. She burned with a passion unmatched. Her chocolate brown eyes shone in its depths with love and compassion. The fire in her rang true and strong. She was friendly yet fierce. She was social and wherever she went, she spread her light. She brought good.

She was Fire.

He was ice. Ice stood for rationality. His rationality had saved himself from financial issues many times. His heart of ice stood proud, unable to crack. His stone cold eyes were desolate and empty. He was unable to feel joy or love. His life's purpose was only to his work. He rarely ventured out and was very blunt and frustratingly straightforward. He never made friends and always brought about a darkness.

The complete opposite of her.

He was Ice.

They were different. They shouldn't have worked. No one believed they could last a day. But they did.

They lasted a week, month, a year and then 2 years.

But still they did not believe. He would never take the next step. They were proved wrong when on their 3rd Year anniversary he presented a surprise proposal and the most beautiful ring.

They were married as soon as possible and 5 years later they were still happily married with 2 children and one on the way.

"Coming Gray. I'm so excited."

"Me too Luce. Happy Anniversary."

"Happy Anniversary Gray!" she smiled.
