Hello. Me again. Here is my second fic. So, enjoy! Also, if I messed up the languages, tell me and I shall fix!
*sigh* I still dont own Hetalia, I dont Greece or Japan either. Or Kiku the Kitty, cuz I see him all over the place.
[EDIT] Thanks so much to Llamas Myspace and Spam for correcting my Japanese. I'm sorry to anyone who else who read this and saw that it was messed up.
Enjoy!
"Kiku! Come back!"
Greece yelled after his favorite kitty. Kiku the kitty had smelled something he liked on the way to Kiku (as in Japan's) house and had jumped out of Greece's arms. Greece had begun to chase his kitty with repeated cries of "Kiku! Kiku, come back!" Kiku the kitty was very important to him and whenever anyone would ask him why, Greece would always respond with, "He is my favorite kitty because he is named after my favorite person." Greece wasn't sure when Japan had become his favorite, he wasn't even sure how. All Greece knew was that he loved Japan and craved his company. He also knew that Japan didn't know that Greece loved him, and Greece was intent to keep it that way. He didn't want his friendship with Japan to be ruined.
Greece stopped running and screaming after Kiku the kitty when he bumped into someone.
"Gomensai" Greece said in Japanese.
"Kitty's name is Kiku, Greece-kun?"
Greece looked up in horror. The one he had bumped into was none other than Japan himself. "Uh, yes, Japan."
Greece had a huge blush painted across his face. "Why do you call Kitty Kiku?" Greece answered automatically, "He is my favorite cat because he is named after my favorite person" Greece noticed that Japan had turned a beautiful shade of scarlet. It was then that Greece noticed that he answered automatically and with an habitual answer. "Arrigato, Greece- kun. Aishiteru." Japan answered with a small smile. Greece was confused. "Huh, Japan, what does "Aishiteru" mean?" Greece's tongue rolled around the new word and his curiosity was aroused. He looked up and saw that Japan was walking towards his home, Kiku the kitty still in his arms. Greece hurried to keep up.
"Japan! What does aishiteru mean?" Greece demanded again once he was inside Japan's house and once he had removed his shoes. Japan looked at him with an odd look that Greece didn't recognize and then went into his room. He returned a few minutes later with a stack of papers.
"I compiled a Greek-Japanese dictionary for you. You can look it up."
And with this Japan walked away and began to make tea. Greece stared at the dictionary Japan had made for him. He then remembered what he need to do and quickly looked up ashiteru. "Aishiteru means 'I love you'" He read aloud. He could feel his face light up as he processed what he had just read. Japan loved him! Kiku loved him. Greece was so amazingly happy at this thought he felt as if he was on Cloud nine. At that moment Kiku returned with a tea tray and two cups of tea. He sat down next to Greece and began to delicately sip at his tea. Greece gently rested his head on Japan's shoulder. "Kiku?" Greece asked gently. "Hm?" Japan responded. Greece tilted his head up and planted a chaste kiss on his lips. "Penta, s'agapo."
Japan blushed and then kissed Greece's forehead. "Aishiteru, Heracles-kun."
*Penta, s'agapo= I love you in Greek.
