Captain Jack Can Be Philosophical?!
Captain Jack Harkness had lived many years. (Luckily they didn't show on his face!)
He'd learnt that making friends was bad. They betrayed you, stabbed you in the back.
But Jack had, through no fault of his own, become friends with these people.
Gwen Cooper: She was married, going on 3 months now. Even though Jack didn't think Rhys was right for her, he was happy for her.
Owen Harper: The best human doctor Jack has ever known, even though he was the most sarcastic person he's ever known aswell.
Toshiko Sato: The cleverest woman Jack's ever known. She should be in a relationship, sometimes Jack worries weather the job is too much for her …
Then there's Ianto Jones: The man who Jack had fallen in love with. The man that could tire Jack out and still make him want more.
"Hey" Ianto walked into the office "I didn't know you could be that philosophical" He laughed "Penny for your thoughts?"
"Oi, watch it, my thoughts are worth a lot more than a penny mister!" Jack smiled, and for the first time in a long time, the smile actually reached his eyes.
"JACK?" Gwen shouted up "We are all leaving know, you want anything done?"
"Even if I did, you wouldn't would you?" Jack shouted back.
"Too right, see you tomorrow!"
"Bye!" Jack and Ianto both yelled.
"Were where we?" Ianto said, a smile playing on his lips.
"Right here …" Jack said, kissing deeply, enjoying the time he had left with his team, his friends ……
