Draco liked Hermine. Hermione liked Draco, but he was a Slytherin seeker and she was Gryffindor Head Girl, so she ignored her feelings and broke his heart. One day long after Hogwarts graduation, when she's married to Ron, she picks up the paper and sees that Draco Malfoy hit it big in Quidditch. Now she regrets turning him down.
