The Legend of Korra
A Jinoochy Story
Chapter 1
Jinora never really got out much. Yeah, she did go to Republic City, but only with the air acolytes glued to her side. When she turned twelve (after very, very much begging and her mother's assistance) her father let her go "alone." which meant "I will have people watching you at all times." However, Jinora didn't care because she would be going to Republic City tomorrow.
Early the next morning at 6:30 (she's an airbender, they wake up early) she left for Republic City on her glider. The air felt particularly nice today on her face and body. I wonder what I will do when I get there? I guess I haven't really thought about it. Oh I could got to the Library! Yes, I will do that. Wait, I wouldn't be spending all day in the Library, then again I might. No, no, no. I should spend more time outside discovering new things. I'll go to the park and to Zuko's statue. I hate it when Ikki and Meelo call him Uncle Zuko. He isn't biologically related to us at all. When I tell them that they get all mad and say I need to loosen up. I'm plenty loose! She was letting her thoughts get the best of her again.
When she arrived, she took a moment to take in the site of the city. To people that lived in the city, they probably thought there was nothing special about it. To Jinora, well, it gave her a sense of freedom she's never had before growing up so sheltered .Where to now?
